JM will not do that. Never. Never. Think about it. It's in the manual that one of the most important characteristics of a domestic abuser is their claim that men are also subject to abuse. JM has to dodge around that one. He doesn't have to prove Travis was abused--just demonstrate that he was not an abuser. JM has a huge job to clear all that out of the minds of the jurors before they forget where they heard it from. I'm a little apprehensive some of them will retain it 'cause they 'heard it in court.'

I really enjoy your perspective. It would be interesting and highly probable to see JM take this stance, not to mention highly effective given what testimony has already exploded out of Jodi's backed up toilet. At least JM doesn't appear he must go into 'damage control' and more or less facilitate bringing the jury back to the FACTS.
