Is there a layout of the whole house somewhere? I've only seen the master bedroom, bath and closet.

I am not sure.. I think there was one that someone posted way back. Only reason I know is that I live here in Arizona and have seen a house almost exactly like this one and they bedrooms are not close together at all. It seems as though they would be, but they really aren't. This house was HUGE. It makes total sense that he had room mates that were people he really didn't know.. the house was large enough that they didn't necessarily have to cross paths much.

This is very true. I live in a condo and my brother left for the weekend once without flushing his toilet, or, as he claims not following through with the necessary 2nd flush. (so gross) The bathroom is right off my living room and with the bathroom door shut I didn't smell anything. It was only when i went in there to throw something in the trash that I smelled it (and gagged). Probably still not the same level of foul smelling but in a much bigger house I can see how it would have gone unnoticed for a while.

Exactly.. and if the vents were separate that also would have made it harder to smell. She also could have left the bathroom vent fan on..(Just a thought)

I'm in!!! I've had such fun reading all of the comments! Only came upon the JA case by accident, on Huff Post, and they directed me here! Having had the flu the past 2 weeks, sandwiched inbetween 2 blizzards, I've had lots of time to catch up, watch the entire prosecution case (heart Martinez, hehe) on YouTube, and read here. Would love to share my thoughts on the case down the road. But suffice it to say...she's evil!!!
