The 12.99 thing is a blue plastic kerosene can. If you put it in order of price on the Walmart sight, that's about the range it's in (searching kerosene)

What I find wierd is the 2 facial items are exactly the same number and the 2 Neutrogena products are also the same. So, she bought 2 each of both of those things.

The Neutrogena items end with BNS - which probably stands for bonus. That's why they can't find the number - it was a bonus special in June 2008 only. Probably a few extra ounces. My guess from the price is tanning lotion or possibly makeup. I'm basing my guesses on the experience I've had working in Health & Beauty.

Another Thanks! item solved finally from two sources. Could the bonus be a 2 for 1 special? Anywaywe now we can confirm it wasn't hair dye. But, the dye in "April" wasn't the final job either. It was either a rinse of didn't take and she had to redo it. When or if Juan has something to back up his own theory is what remains to be seen.

I'm thinking if that is not a mistake Jodi was a very busy girl sneaking into Travis' phone, email. An issue imo that must be addressed much better by the prosecution. This is the techno era, they need to come up to it. Not havng the ability to capture text msgs for instance, or the forensic software available for enhancing thumbnails suggests this dept is way behind in this arena.

My concern is, so far, it doesn't appear LE / State aggressively investigated the technology areas of this case. While the def is depending heavily on them. Flores 'threatened' they'd get IP info etc and never even followed through on it for over a year!

That sounds plausible to me. She is so full of, um, words. She never stops talking and seems to know everything about Travis. The guy in Yreka who loaned her money for her road trip said she was on the computer constantly. There were probably lots of short little messages too if you count the IMs and so forth.

Playing catch up after 3 days no MDS. Was starting to suffer withdraw. I noticed Judge was out sick last week. Could it have been caused by Jodi's Alanis medley..I know it made me nauseous. Derogatory terms are pretty much universal these days I think, thanks to movies, music, the net etc. But these are some slang Scots terms that make me either cringe or LOL. Nb: heed + nut both = head. Heed-case, heed-the-baw - (implies one's head has had too many knocks from heading an (imaginery) soccer ball); heed-banger - (same - but a wall does the damage here); bampot - (out and out fruitcake); frisbee nut - (one who spins tails in their head); 2-bob rocket {2-bob=old coinage, abt 10 cents} - (cheap firework that's not wired right and blows); space cadet (actions of one practising to be where they belong, ie outer space). This one not at all nice, but oft heard, windae-licker - (insane person who, whilst being transported from A-B for treatment, lolls against a window). All usually preceded by 'Fucking'. Derogatory slang names for promiscuous female - slag, slapper, skank, lucy - (derived from loose elastic in one's knickers (panties?), ie they're always down) fanny-bucket - (vagina that's ehm, big); bawbag muncher, baw being slang for balls - (scrotum sack lover) I think I need to shower now.

This is all such bullshit. She planned it, she acted suspicious and weird afterwards...then following the odd behavior was a pile of lies. I understand the concept of "innocent until proven guilty" -- but IMO, this should've been an open-and-shut case. But unfortunately, I don't run the world.

I asked this question last week, but it probably got lost in the speed this thread moves. Then again, I kept getting 'post is in moderation' or some suchlike, got fed up and emailed MDS - to be fair they replied to the effect it was something to do with post-count. Anyhoo, I'm curious about the court system over there. Here (Scotland, UK) courts run 10-5 daily, going on later if necessary, depending on the serious-ness of the trial. Is there a reason there's no in-session court some Fridays and Mondays? I've followed quite a few trials in the US and am often amazed at the gap between in-session days, it's something I've always meant to ask. I know the judge was unwell Fri and today btw, but the way too long breaks and short days, I've not witnessed in any trial I've followed in the US. If you have time, can you give me an insight as to what procedure is, though I appreciate it differs from state to state.
