I have a question. I am a little confuzzled because I've heard different things. If by some chance in the pits of hell the jury finds this evil creature not guilty. She doesn't walk, does she?

    Unfortunately I believe she does.

I've heard the testimony, seen the photos, and I still can't understand how she killed him so completely and successfully in such a short time.

Obviously she is the physical underdog. She's also been driving for days, hardly sleeping, eating poorly. Yet she is able to viciously slaughter a large strong man and not take any injuries in the process? She did not get a black eye, had no teeth knocked out, she did not get stabbed or even bruised. This guy followed UFC and worked out! She was around people in public the next day and had no visible damage aside from one finger.

Was it just luck? A one in a thousand lucky first stab right to the heart that cut vital blood vessels? Was it luck that he was trapped in a tiny shower stall with no way out? Did she point the gun at him to control him, and then knife his heart and he was never able to put up much of a fight?

The first wound must have hurt him very badly.

She really killed Travis. Whether or not, her twisted mind has started to convince herself that she really was defending her life that night, is irrelevant. She snatched the life from someone's body. She deserves to die. Like 4 years and 8 months ago. But the best we can do is for her to die, TODAY.
His chronological age was 29 or 30. His sexual age was a good Mormon 19 at best. Sexually, Travis was back in the 50's. Then Jodi comes along having traveled down roads he didn't even know were on the map. Suddenly, Travis was a STUD and that took over. He didn't have any blood reserves left to nourish his brain. It was all flowing to his dick. It took a few months for normal circulation to kick back in. Too late! Been there! Done that! Survived!

    2. He was awake when she got there at 4am, obviously waiting for her arrival.
    3. He had no work obligations during the time she visited.

    I'm not sure about that.

    1. I haven't heard that the roommates were definitely not at home. One roommate was house-sitting. The other, I believe was probably asleep at 4am, considering he had to go to work that day.

I also seem to remember one of his roommates (or maybe just a friend) saying something about Travis being up all night, doing some kind of protection ritual or something of the sort? Travis was worried or something? I would think that someone was there and aware that he was awake, and yet not aware that Jodi was showing up.

    3. As mentioned, he had a conference call that evening, at 6pm, I believe. So while he may have not had a 9-5 shift or something, he had some business plans. I think the thing is too, we don't really know the nature of what he did. Selling pre-paid legal services, yes. But it seems like it was a work-at-home job. He may have been able to set his own hours and whatnot, as I assume this worked like commission sales.

On May 28, 2008, the defendant?s grandparents reported the theft of a .25 caliber automatic pistol to the Yreka, California police department.

The police report for that incident states that the defendant was present and spoke with an officer about her presence at her grandparents home earlier that day.

On July 15, 2008, the defendant was interviewed by Detective Flores. During that interview, Detective Flores asked the defendant about reporting a .25 automatic gun stolen.
??? I thought it was semi-automatic? Sorry if that sounds nit-picky, but there is a difference.

I know, unfortunately, that's all the court said. I know the terms are often misused also so it still leaves questions for me.

I remember prosecution witness on stand saying that it was consistent with a ".25 auto bullet."

Travis earned his living through "Network Marketing." Hard to explain, but it's like running your own business in affiliation with a bigger organization and setting others up to do the same. He fed the product to anyone he set up and got a cut of their action. He also worked with his parent organization, (think Chris Hughes) to motivate newbies to get out there to recruit and sell and copy what they were doing. He was really good at the motivation stuff and that's what made him a star. There are no regular office hours in this business. Nobody gets fired. It costs money to get into the game and those who don't succeed, just drop out. Make sense?

My husband (who knows more about these things than I do) says a .25 semi auto and a .25 auto would use the same kind of bullet. So the bullet wouldn't tell what kind of gun it was; just the size. But I figured Jodi's grandparents would know what kind of gun they had.

Thank you Ian 1!!! I agree, she opened his virginal eyes...and he was completely and utterly mesmerized and taken over by sex. Carnal, hot, satisfying sex. Something he never thought would happen until he was in his honeymoon suite bed with his bride on his wedding night. She was damaged goods, a vixen, a femme fatale who seduced him so successfully...and you're so right!!! Until a few months passed...and he was like, "fuck, this bitch is obsessive, clingy, intrusive, weird and socially fucking awkward as hell. I'm outta here!" He even admitted that he hadn't beat off until he met her!!! She really tainted him...blinded him by physical pleasures only. Maybe they had some deep conversations, or funny moments, and there was a time where he tolerated everything because he liked to "work her booty." It was all short-lived. He knew from the start, she wasn't his end-game. I agree...once she introduced him to all this hot shit...he thought HE was the hot shit on campus. Thought he could probably get anyone, anywhere, anytime. He gained more confidence...and that pissed her off too. Best described as your typical massive love-hate relationship. Thank you for the reps!! I gave you some love too! I appreciate you appreciating what I wrote!!!

I hear ya on that....it is VERY odd that all she had was a slit/scratch on her left ring finger and some kind of bandage on her arm (when others were interviewed, they said it was dead summer in california and she had long sleeves on with bandages on her arm(s) ). It seems fairly crazy that she was able to completely overtake Travis all by herself, and do SUCH DAMAGE to him within a 4 minute window of time... Granted, he WAS in a seated position, in a wet/slick area, possibly being held and knife AND gunpoint... A couple of times I second guess THIS story too, and start to think there was possibly another person there, but then I retract that thought as well. Jodi is some kind of narcissistic/sociopathic individual...there is NO WAY she'd do this much time or lie to save another. It's all just unbelievable to me, that she carried this out so successfully with very little harm to herself. Weird. weird. weird. I wish she'd just spill the damn TRUTH so we all know what happened, but that's just a pipe dream.

Lots of good insights here, I agree with the stuck in the 50s and how he was overtaken by sex and then gained more confidence and wanted or was ready to leave her.

Did you mean that Enrique last saw Travis on the 3rd? Cause he would've already been dead by the time Enrique got home on the 4th.

I do very clearly remember hearing at least one roommate/friend/whoever say that Travis was up and feeling uncomfortable/nervous/scared.

Nathan or Enrique may have seen Travis awake and nervous late at night on 6/3/08 or very early in the morning, 12-1am on 6/4/08. Not sure when exactly is the TRUTH of when Jodi actually arrived at Travis's house. Anywhere between midnight and before Enrique had to go to work at 5 or 6am. Can't believe half of what Jodi says, which makes some of this very confusing. This whole case = FRUSTRATING.

The lack of physical injuries to Jodi blows me away as well, and also led me to think she HAD to have a male accomplice. But again, there is no frikking way that chick would not throw that person under the bus immediately. So have to scratch that idea.

How did she not end up with bruises on her? Or something other than a few scratches on her hands?????

THAT is always going to bug me, big time.

Isn't there a contemporary song about that? "The First Cut Is the Deepest." I think it was Sheryl Crowe. It's not a new thought. It's been with us through the ages. Everything is derivative. The Tragedy of Travis Alexander and the Shame of Jodi Ann Arias is just a replay on a very old theme.

Wrote my opinion somewhere back on page 1067?ish I think she shot him first the. Jumped I his back basically and attacked him while he tried to get away.... Anyway I can see her over powering him even with a few stab wounds he would be able to fight back and inflict some kind of trama that her new bf in Utah would have noticed, he'll maybe be shoved her and bumped her head and she didn't say anything to him
