I agree with this. To a point. I think people take it too far though, and look for truths that don't exist. Like the ninjas "gun jamming." Many people believe that because Jodi said the ninja's gun jammed, then the actual gun jammed. That is crediting Jodi with truth when their is no evidence to support it.

The reason I think she was telling the truth about the gun jamming is because shooting him first would have been the easiest (and therefore most likely) way to kill him. She thought she would be able to do it with a single bullet while he was in the shower = no mess, clean getaway. And she brought the knife/knives as a backup.

I think she intended to (and tried to) shoot him first but the gun jammed and he lunged at her, knocking the camera and gun out of her hands (hence the ceiling pic). I think when she pulled the trigger the first time, it was fueled by rage. The moment it jammed, it became a matter of both rage AND desperation, hence the stabbing overkill as he was out of the shower and heading down the hallway. She was like, shit, it's over if he gets out of here alive. It's that added element of desperation that led to her shitty cleanup job, laundry fuckup and leaving the camera behind.

She was planning to use the gun all along. If she planned to stab him to death, she would have made sure she had a larger window of time in which to work, not just an hour or two.

She didn't anticipate him getting away and furthering the crime scene into the bathroom, hallway, etc. Stabbing somebody 29 times (one of them being directly to the heart!) and slitting somebody's throat (ear to ear!) is not something you do on a whim. She had way too much anger and resentment built up inside her to make it such a clean and simple gunshot wound to kill. I think the she brought the gun as back-up and then last-minute decided to use it to 'seal the deal'. (Not that it wasn't already )

Yup-yup. With the ridiculous amount of crime-related shows I watch , I have definitely learned that you can come to an immediate conclusion that the attacker has some sort of personal and emotional connection to the victim if there are multiple stab wounds.

Not sure how relevant it is ,but it gets a little strange and somewhat violent. At one point they even role play a murder type scene. Crazy shit and i wonder if this can be entered into evidence now.
