The defense only wanted to play parts of the sex tape. JM objected and said all or nothing. Pretty sure that's why the tape was chopped up when they actually played it.

I'm guessing they only wanted to play the portion where Travis mentions tying her to the tree, etc. I'm trying to think of how many "moments of silence" I heard while listening to the tape. 3 or 4 I think - which would mean another portion was coming up. Gus Searcey told Jinkasaurus that Jodi called him at 3am June 4th and told him Travis was dead. He asked how Travis died and she said she didn't know. BOMBSHELL

Probably because she knew that she was fucked because they were going to play the whole tape and not just the portions that she wanted them to play.

I think it's the OPEN court wish of the family that got her. That she thought for sure she could hide behind a closed court. Banking the family would never want that out in the open. SURPRISE.
Family stood strong, bring it on bitch! Notice they had to announce that as a stipulation. 'it is the families wish ...' I bet that is what fried her ass. She never imagined they wouldn't hurt and retreat the way she wanted them too to back down. In her twisted mind, they won! Her sting didn't get them like she wanted.

Fortunately that doesn't exist. Per Jodi they used Travis' camera to make the video and when in interrogation Flores stated that its hard to retrieve deleted video since its so large. they were only able to retrieve the still pictures.

I bet Nurmi did it out of spite since he didn't get his way on the prosecutorial misconduct thing. I bet he doesn't even call her--she wouldn't cooperate with him and he knows it.

Then again, it would be awesome if the prosecution is going to use her as a rebuttal witness. That would just make Nurmi explode.

wait - was gus the one travis was supposed to have the conference call w/??? - and if you just heard some one you knew died and didn't know how wouldn't you be calling his friends to find out what happened?? because it was still a week b4 they found him, if he has called chris or his room mates, they would have checked or called the police - so either he is lying out his ass or he helped her in the cover up and should be charged

But that doesn't make sense to me because it was entered a day or two before it was played. She knew it then, no surprise.
I've seen her puffy before in the morning. Maybe she had a rough night She was fine later.

It must have been entered a few days prior, but JM objected and they were waiting on a ruling from the judge? That's my guess. We were allowed to enter the courtroom early that day so we heard the judge's other cases for about half hour. Then when all attorneys were present, before Jodi even came in, the judge called them into her chambers. They asked if JA could join them-- she was allowed. Then for the next hour or so, there was a whole lotta' in and out, running around-- we didn't see JA though until the judge brought the jury in to tell them they were going to early break. It was then that she came out obviously crying. A lot of people in the gallery commented that it was a much different face than we've seen before. Much more redness and puffiness in the face and eyes.

Sky was issued this yesterday morning after the hearing. The judge told her she could not watch anymore media until she was released. The State told the judge they had no plans to call her, but the def wanted the no-media ban placed on her.

Yeah, they did that at the end of the hearin when Sky testified. Defense issued the subpoena. I bet they never call her to testify.

Thank the Lord! I'm re-watching the 48 hours thing and she mentions in it that they made one. I kept thinking, that's great, now they'll bring it into evidence to prove Travis wasn't a sexual deviant, that they had plain ol' vanilla sex.

She and Chris have spoken out before about how at first they liked Jodi a lot, but then she got creepy and they told Travis he couldn't bring her over to their house anymore. I wonder if it's something to do with some of that?
