i have checked and it looks like abe only testified in the evidentiary hearing that included gus about getting the mistrial on prosecutorial misconduct
    this was the first day
    State calls Abe Abdelhadi.

Again, Nurmi is whining he had no knowledge of the witness being called and states he has done television interviews.

Abe has known Searcy for 6-7 years.

He spoke to Searcy about the trial.

Searcy told him the prosecution hadn’t returned any of his calls. Searcy was surprised and insulted by this.

Nurmi wants to recess again until tomorrow.

He will also be back tomorrow at 3:30 by telephone.

    here is the second day

abe starts around 53 mins (chris is in the beginning about the forged letters and how nurmi lied to his wife) all he talks about referring to jodi breaking up, was that jodi called him and told him about travis - he never said (or was never asked) if he did or did not know about the email (its funny how nurmi tries to twist his words but abe won't let him) and then creepy gus comes back

The only reason i can see for her to say that she forwarded the email to Travis and not explain HOW it was forwarded (like, "Oh I stipped out that info" or "I actually copied and pasted it, I didn't forward it") is that she is straight up lying for absolutely no reason, which demonstrates that she's a pathological liar (surprise!).
That's what I was alluding to earlier.

Check out the tendons in her throat area...they go super tight during all of this. It's obvious her adrenaline/craziness/stress went on overdrive during this!

I too, need to start having fun with my man...I seem to talk about this case a lot when we have conversations and after a while of me blabbing on like Jodi, ABOUT Jodi, he's like, "Wow, sounds intense. Can we talk about real life now?" LOL!! It's on my mind 24/7 sometimes it seems... Ugh. Hopefully they FINALLY get to the actual murder next week, but you never know. You watch! I'm calling it, on Thursday, afternoon session, they will talk about every single second of 6/4/08 leading up to 5:30pm ........we'll get to
Jodie: "Um...so...um...Travis got into the shower...and...."
Wormi: "Judge, should we recess for the weekend...?"
Judge: "Yes, ladies and gentleman, we will recess for the day. Please be back in the designated area on Monday at 10:30am, have a nice weekend."
    Shahoolie11: "ARRRRGGGGGHHH!!!!!! FUCK THIS SHIT!!!"
I know how you feel. I'm trying to spare my BF from hearing all my thoughts on this case and how much I think about it. Something tells me I'll end up talking about it this weekend. But not much because right now I don't have much to say other than Jodi is melting my brain.

Ugh I agree with you. I think Wormi is going to try and drag things out all next week and try to skip out on any real details until the next week. I work from home next week so I was soooo ready for JM to be back up and things to start looking realistic again. Judge should seriously be up on her shots and take preventative measures from being sick during such a high-profile case. LOL.

In either case, I think adrenaline kicked in after that and he tried to make a break for it, knocking the camera out of her hand on his way out of the shower (causing the ceiling pic). The rest of the attack followed...
You know, I've never thought about this until you just said it, but at some point during the attack, she had to bend down and pick the camera back up and take it with her for the dragging pics, etc to be taken. But WHY? Was she going to take pictures of the murder or the aftermath and something spooked her?

That being said, and regardless of who sent who what, I am still clueless to what the hell this letter is even suppose to prove and how it helps the defense. But then again, nothing they have done IMHO has helped their case.
Yeah, you would click on the original email, click "forward", then strip out the info. It would show up in your "sent" folder, both the original and the forwarded message (which would look identical to the original, just sent to a different person).

BUT... I am unclear where the email came from. If they got it from Travis's email or Jodi's or what. And earlier, someone posted something Abe said, which was that it was scanned in. So.... it might even be a hardcopy of an email that got scanned in, and not an electronic copy from an email inbox.

I want to pay closer attention to these little nuances she has. Are you in the criminology field? Do you study micro-expressions, sociopathy, psychopathy at all? From your post, you seem to know what you're talking about! All very interesting stuff! I'm not really good at catching minor movements, but I bet once I start tuning in, I'll see what you're talking about. All I see when I look at Jodi is THE SAME expression: vacant. Dead. GONE. Her mouth moves, her eyebrows never move, besides her slight smirks here and there, I never see any other movement to her lips or mouth. I'm ALWAYS using my facial expressions as a way to convey my exact feelings. She is so hollow. I'm probably being way harsh on her, because I hate the fucking slaughtering heartless hogwhore.
Nothing formal for me. Age brings wisdom? LOL An old fool with a lifetime of living more than I care to remember. Sort of natural born ability, mixed w being a people watcher before I could talk. I fined tuned it unconsciously, almost masterly, before I knew what it was ... a necessary survivial skill.
Yes, micro, never thought about that way because it is second nature to me. The slighest movement, an eye pupil steadying (tells who the target of a drunken hand will be), the first lift of a finger (blood to follow). The lift of a shoe, bruises on their way. Some voices raise when anger builds, but beware! some get so quiet hell fire is going to breath out to punish.

I don't know. I thought everyone was like this. Even those I grew with, but had to learn they didn't have this quiet eye. I couldn't understand why everyone didn't see this way. Only to learn, I was the odd ball. People look but they see what they want to see and don't really look. I envy that sometimes but wouldn't trade my 'quite eye' for the world.

Try this, watch with the sound off first, then again with sound. Practice removing letting go of prejudgments Don't anticipate or try to predict. Just accept what you see like a blank slate. Learn how not to 'feel' their words with YOUR emotions. Observe without denial or preconceptions. Listen and watch! Now what do you see?

I KNOW! I didn't catch it the first time, but then I watched it a second time and it was like the really creepy scary part in The Ring or something. I re-watched it over and over again to figure out what made it so freakin' creepy.

Maybe I've been skimming too quickly, but I haven't noticed anyone comment on Gus suddenly claiming that Jodi called him less than 12hours after the murder, stating that she killed travis. WTF?

I personally find it hard to believe and think he's just trying to onto television, because his smiley/smug ass seems like the type to do that for attention. But still WTF?!?!?

The possibility has been brought up that the timer function was activated when she dropped the camera. I think it's also possible that it landed in such a way that the shutter button was engaged. Since we know it was probably a low-light condition, the camera may not actually take a picture if it's not able to focus on something, even when the shutter is pressed down. The only time it was able to pick up something close-by to focus was when she was dragging the body by.

I believe the two shots of the body being dragged down the hallway were shot upside down, so this is what I believe happened.

Of course, just my thoughts... crazy Jodi is the only one who knows for sure.

Right, it had to be right to left, right eyebrow to left cheek. downward IOWs.
Exactly, he was facing the opposite way when found. To shoot him in the shower than, she'd have to be in the shower and almost crawling up the wall. Which also can't work because there is no stippling for close range shot. Soot (very close range) could wash off but stippling won't. My own feeling is, she slit his throat last, in the shower. I think that because we are missing a the high volume puddle of blood this should present. Not enough mound of blood on that carpet to explain a squirting artery and a gushing vein. But many don't agree with me. :)

Yeah, he's a lying sack. I don't think anyone believes him, which was why he was dismissed yesterday and allowed to do whatever he wants now. Nobody cares or wants to call him as a witness.

sorry, I ignore that one. I wouldn't mention his name or give him a moment of the attention he so badly wants so past this, you won't see me acknowledge the famewhore creep.

I initially thought it might have been a timer thing, but after the testimony about the camera, I'm convinced the camera was upside down and got bumped (maybe by her foot) which caused it to take a picture. It sounded very plausible.

OMG. That's NUTS. Something crazy will happen while she's being crossed. JM was calm and she reacted like that! He called her out in one of her gazillion lies and she couldn't handle that. That means there are a gazillion-minus-1 chances of her snapping. CanNOT wait!!!

If Martinez has his way, the last thing they'll hear from her won't be anything like the meek little mouse that's been on the stand for the past week...

thats what i think too, and what the LE camera guy was thinking -

i just rewatched creepy gus again when martinez asked him who was in the car and gus said it was irreleveant juan looked like he just wanted to slap him - it was so bad i think that was when even nurmi decided he was a liar and couldn't call him to testify for jodi~!!!!
