Listening to In Session as they replay late yesterday's testimony, something struck me...when Jodi was talking about the drawing/paper she forgot (that Travis made her and she asked him to sign) she said she didn't remember what it was, exactly...and "I really wish I could remember because it's sentimental." The reason she remembers everything is because it's all she's been doing for the last almost-5 years in jail: reliving every moment of her past, especially her past with Travis.

She's still obsessed with him. She wishes she could remember what this paper was because it's a hole in her memory that she can't fill up and relive...it haunts her. If she can full possess all of these memories, she can possess Travis for eternity. Just like the secret pedophilia...it's something she knew that no one else did (in her sick mind, not that I believe he was a pedo) and she has full "possession" of that knowledge as a result. Another piece of him no one else can have except her.

She is totally enjoying her trip down memory lane.

Oh no!!! The judge was very very sniffly and blowing her nose a lot yesterday- she looked like she was getting ill. BTW- she was very funny. You can definitely tell she gets really irritated with Nurmi. A few times it looked like she wanted to jump out of her chair and shake him, like 'SPIT IT OUT DAMNIT!!!'. LOL

Seems the sniffles were going around. Tanisha had kleenex too. I've heard a lot of coughing for about a week now also. Sorry, I don't believe the judge isn't professional or showing against any side (which would be cause for mistrial).

After supposedly not being able to be there for the hearing he shows up in person only to throw his hands up when he is not needed. Interesting thought. I don't think the judge would do that, but it might work out in the favor of the prosecution either way. I really think Nurmi was stalling and that he had a reason for it. This will hopefully completely through off whatever games he's trying to play with regards to the timing.

Much better than her telling the story of murder/self defense on Valentines day, where she can cry - and play it up, and then they have all weekend to stew over it.
Hopefully, this means they will get to the murder on Tuesday and then Martinez is up and he can bring this trial back into focus on THE TRUTH! Not HOEDI's version of it.
Unless WORMI decides to drag her testimony on some more to try to get to next weekend. I sure the hell hope not. She's already been caught in so many lies. If some of the jurors are taking notes like we've heard they are, then they should at this point have a timeline that includes her bullshit lies. When Martinez finally gets up to bat, he can drive those points home and it will solidify it in the jurors minds.
There is no way that Martinez is going to miss a thing. He's too good of a prosecutor. I think that Wormi and Palin know they can't compete with him so they are throwing as much bullshit out as they can and hoping that something sticks. I can't wait for the trial to refocus off all the "mistrial hearing's" and Hoedi's lies and back on the facts.

If I were to guess, I would say that Martinez is going to try to be as short with his questioning as he can be. He's sharp, so he'll be able to go straight to the heart of things, and I think he knows that the jury is probably bored at this point. He will come in shart and swift and to the point and get out. At least that is what I'd do (knowing nothing about being an attorney).

You are both lucky. If I lived close I would definitely go. I wish I could convince my husband that I should really be there! Don't think he'd buy it though.

Someone mentioned earlier this morning that she seems to be focused on one of the jurors, it seems I noticed something like that yesterday too that when they were filing out on break she kind of gave that little smile you do when you see someone you are familiar with but don't really know. Watching the re-play of yesterday's testimony, I can totally see little flashes of "psycho" coming out here and there. You can just see that she's trying to hold it back.

Right now, I'm specifically talking about the letter she wrote to Travis. It's very obvious to me that it really bothered her (and since it's a letter she wrote, we know there is more truth to this bit of testimony than others where she was more free to "embellish").

She's trying hard to keep that meek, victim demeanor, but I don't think it's working here. Maybe it's just me...

I see what you are saying. But, I still fully believe the ME that the gunshot was last. After Travis' heart had stopped beating. There was no hemorrhaging in the in the skull.

She stabbed him first. Forensics even stated that in the early days of the trial. The shell casing was on top of the blood. Not vise versa. Meaning there was already blood on the ground when she shot the gun. The shell casing flew out and landed in the pile of blood. You can see it in the crime scene photos. IMHO, she stabbed him in the chest, he did try to defend himself due to the defensive wounds on his hands. He came out of the shower to defend himself and fight back, she continued to stab him as he was trying to get away. This is why there are so many crime scene photos with blood splattered everywhere! All over the bathroom and hallway. She shot him in the bathroom at some point before he escaped to the hallway area. (Casing in the pool of blood) He did get to the end of the hallway. That's where he couldn't fight back any longer. He was close to death at this point. She grabbed his sheets, put them under him and dragged him back to the bathroom. Along the way, she sliced his throat to finish the job. This is where you see the pictures of the hallway. If you look closely, you can tell he was dragged down the hallway due to the bloodstains on the hallway that smear along the wall. Also, there is a clean area along the middle part of the hallway where he was dragged. (This is why his sheets/blankets were in the washing machine) She sliced his neck in the area where there is a shit load of blood on the carpet. She drags him into the bathroom, throws his lifeless body into the shower and washes him off. She is freaking out at this point and knows she has to get out of that house. That is why nothing was cleaned off. She leaves his room, locks the door, throws his stuff in the washer and leaves.
