He danced around the question and said that Travis essentially MADE Jodi drive to him. He kept insisting Travis lunged at Jodi and it was self-defense; even after Nancy said 9 stabs in the back is not self-defense.
Some bullshit about how she's not a killer. We don't know what really happened. She's never been in trouble with the law before; and of course it makes sense that she was lying now.
He made himself look really stupid. Which goes without saying since he's "dating" Jodi to begin with.
I just told my husband who Bryan Carr is.. that he is a "platonic" friend of Jodi's.. here's what he said:

I didn't make sense I agree! I was at the end of my post and trying to wrap it up! I think she meant to kill him with the gun. She shot once but couldn't shoot again because it didn't go off. (Ninja story goes like this) No one can understand how she could run downstairs for a knife unless there was one nearby. Maybe because of role playing with a knife? So she could produce a gun and not have him react? I don't know where it is but the gun shot came from his right side on a downward trajectory (correct me if I'm wrong!) which would say she shot first, he didn't die so she ran for the knife. His position in the shower would mean the gun shot came from his left, not his right!
Sorry everyone...this is off topic. But, the Diana Gabaldon books I read are set in Scotland. Well, most of it is anyway. These books are must read books!!!!

I just see truth in lies and think the ninja story with the gun not going off means something. I'm just speculating! Once again, your ideas are always awesome.
FYI - I believe I heard dr drew say Gus Searcy was going to be on his show tonight.
The last picture of him taken was him sitting on the floor of the shower with his right side towards the camera, so yes, I do believe that she shot first and when that didn't work, she tried to shoot him again and the gun jammed. In a panic she then went after him with a knife. (I thought early on that maybe after the gun jammed, she panicked and ran downstairs to grab a knife then ran back up to find him struggling down the hall and started to stab him) however, there would not be time for that. She HAD to have the knife with her while taking pictures of him in the shower.
And oh yeah..she does need to go to the death sentence. I think we are all here to find out what was going on in her mind. That's my interest. After she gets locked up (which MUST happen) I wonder if she will recant or play innocent a la Scott Peterson? She loves attention so I could see her getting her extra 15 minutes with a recant???
