Jodi Ann Arias shot and stabbed her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander to death

I've been catching up with posts all day! Here are my observations and ideas:

*She was very confused and hurt by his initial feelings of love and attraction. Sorry Travis, but you were a talker so there is a good chance you dropped the word marriage and future into her brain. Maybe you meant it at the time maybe you knew how to get women in bed. Who knows? RIP.

* He keeps breaking up with her as a regular girlfriend. She feels used. I know MANY years ago I agreed to anal sex with a dude (sorry not into it) and it hurt like MFing hell so when he broke up I was PISSED i had agreed to it. Obviously she had done it before but she was using all of this kinky stuff as leverage on him both by threatening to tell everyone and by playing on his guilt for x-rated sex and rejection.

* I think around March/April she was all over the map with mental confusion. She had tried guilt with him one-on-one. She had tried walking in on him with a girl in his home to make the girl aware of her presence. She had responded in rage with emails to girls and slashing tires. She tried pleading, apologies...the only...THE ONLY thing that drew him back in was sex.

* Her taped phone sex starts with her being very OK with them being friends, her knowing about Cancun, blah blah blah. She had to do that because if she had fought she would have gotten the response from before. She got him off guard.

* At this point I think she was still confused. She wanted to tape the conversation for retaliation. She was also thinking (but not sure) about murder based on the Alanis Morrisette song. Does anyone have those lyrics? MY GOD!! One time me and a girlfriend were driving and the song came on and it's the perfect song for a dumped girlfriend. I didn't go kill but felt good singing it. It basically is about a woman showing a man's lies after he breaks up. Other posters have noted it's definitely got some pre-meditation to murder hints.

* Finally, I really liked the whole role playing sex game thing people thought but don't forget...she made a LOT of effort to show she wasn't there. So if she went to do a knife/sex game thing she wasn't thinking she could say oh oops we were playing with a knife and he fell on it.

* My theory is she went to his house with an elaborate cover up. She might have suggested the knife/sex game so when she eventually brought out the gun he wouldn't be so scared.

* In her lies are truth. Remember in her ninja story she said the gun clicked but didn't go off? I think she tried to shoot him but failed and had to get the knife. I know there are all sorts of forensics on the bullet casing but the side of the head and the angle of the shot vs. the side of the head in the shower point to the gun going off first.

Dear Diary,

Well, today's testimony left me a little "unsettled." I accidentally got lost a few times while Nurmi was asking me questions. There is just so much that I want to say. I really hope we get to talk about everything we have already discussed again tomorrow. I feel it is important for the jury to be able to memorize every facet of my life. After all, this trial is all about me. I am just so glad that Nurmi understands that.

I will admit that I peed in my pants a little today. At first I thought it was just KY Jelly leakage (if I had a dollar every time that happened!) But then I realized what happened. It was because Martinez started asking me about my lies, I mean my testimony. How dare he! Nurmi and I already agreed that if we use up enough time Martinez might die before he gets a chance to cross examine me. He is so old. Almost as old as Daryl. If only I could, up, speed up the process.

I was so glad I was able to tell the jury again how monogamous I am. Sure, I was trying to hook up with Abe, John, Steve, and Ryan (just to name a few.) But, I didn't want a "relationship" with them. I just wanted buttsecks.

Why can't everyone see that this was just a time in my life when I was not making good choices for myself. Killing Travis was just another one of those bad choices. Everyone makes bad choices sometimes. We should just move on. I know I have.

In closing I want to share a poem I wrote today.

What wonderith do I see,
when I looketh towards the gallery.

First my eyes lighteth upon,
a mean old man named Juan.

He maketh me want to lear,
he instilleth in me a great fear.

Fortune is mine when I next see,
A man of vastness, who protecteth me.

My family is there, offering support,
I wish it were they, on trial in this court.

Beyond all the people is a door,
that leads to freedom and more.

Soon that freedom shall belongeth to me,
When my innocence everyone shall see.

I'm confused by this statement. and it also contradicts your previous statement saying "I think she tried to shoot him but failed and had to get the knife."
Can you explain how she starts with the knife (because gun jams) but also starts with the gun?
