He will go into the weekend break with Jodi bawling on the stand. That way, all the talk is about poor Jodi, she's the real victim here, look how upset she is, blah, blah, blah. No way he wants to let Martinez grilling her be what is talked about over the weekend.

They talked on HLN about the tape desensitising the jury - I know what they men - I just didn't want to hear any more of her lies that Travis was abusing her. Are they hoping noone will be listening anymore when she talks about the actual killing?

I think she's not close to her mom because she's stunted and stuck at age 16-17 (when a lot of teen girls go through their "I hate my parents" phase). Everything about her and all these stories she tells screams HIGH SCHOOL.

Now I know for sure, these two people were into role playing sex. Jodi is now trying to make it more than that...make it evil....but nope, she helped plan these role playing games.

Jodi was just as much into these games as Travis was.

Jodi recording the call leads me to another theory. She would try like hell to get Travis to talk about people in his company during that call. She was encouraging him to talk about other people. She was recording the call. I think Jodi was trying to get dirt on Travis so she could play it for these other guys. She is a drama starter. Listen to the beginning of the call again-she is trying very hard to get him to talk about people.

Also sounds like Jodi liked to play men against men.

Yep I agree. Submit the tape into evidence, play it and then turn around and say it was all lies. WTF?!? My guess is the defense only wanted to play certain parts to back up some of her testimony. But having to play the entire tape only made her whoredom meter explode. I was embarrassed for them both just listening to it. She clearly enjoyed every minute of her blackmail attempt.

Who knows what significance she might have placed on Mexico, or Cancun specifically, based on their past together? He might have said something romantic about taking her there months and months earlier, then forgot about it, and when he decided to go there without her she lost her shit and started planning all of this.

I have a feeling court will start extra late tomorrow. The evidentiary hearing is supposed to be at 10:00 and court at 11:00, but I bet the hearing will run long and the judge will do what she did today and start after the (2 hour) lunch break. Hope I'm wrong!

Hey Justice, do you know if the hearing is closed door?? I know Creepy Gus wanted didn't want to give the name and they mentioned sealing it, so I'm wondering if they will allow cameras in or not because of that. Sure hope they do get to the murder...I'm so tired of the stalling and going back. It's getting ridiculous! Wormi and Hoedi are so long-winded!!!

Wow, that is terrible. Can he get a restraining order against her? Can he file a police report for her pulling a loaded gun on him? I understand that sometimes people might not be willing to do that, especially against a loved one. But, I think it would at least give the police the ability to show up and arrest her the first time, should she turn up on your doorstep.

Yeah, last night I did some research. You have up to a year to file domestic violence, but the sooner the better. I also think he needs to do a restraining order. Things to have on file when the divorce gets nasty and to make sure he gets as much custody of the kids as he can. Scares me to have them with her after all this. He'll be over tonight, so we will definitely be talking through that and I think he is finally at the point now where he would do those things. Now he just needs to think about the kids and himself.

Yeah, he needs to call the police for anything aggressive she may do from now on!!

The "burglary" was reported on May 28 and this phone conversation on May 10 I would be interested to know what happened between this phone call and the burglary.

One thing that bothers the hell out of me, but means absolutely nothing....How was Jodi able to travel so freaking much?
She was a waitress. How was she able to get so many days off of work and why the heck did she work at so many different place?
She said she paid for half the trips with Travis. It's make total sense that those checks she wrote him were paybacks for the trips they took.
$699 is such a strange number. Why not $700. $699 sounds like payback for an airline ticket.

Jodi didn't understand on the stand yesterday why she had no money. WTF? The girl traveled all the freaking time. That's why she didn't have any money.
