I don't think it's a plea deal. I think they're too far into things to even ask for it, and I doubt the prosecutors want to end it here without a chance to set the record straight on cross.

I don't know if she may be crying about the tape. 1) If the judge ruled it out and Jodi was crying, wouldn't she just give her 15 min. to pull her shit together? 2) Maybe both parties played the entire tape in the morning and it startled Jodi because she didn't remember all the stuff SHE contributed to it (maybe she was aggressive and dirty and leading), and it made her upset? But again, wouldn't the judge just give her 15 min. to pull her shit together?

or, 3) about the proof of a possible lie from yesterday's testimony? Could be. Maybe she was slapped with another count of perjury...?

Jodi is fixing to have to explain what she did-and her whole family is there. She is embarrassed and ashamed. She doesn't want to. Doesn't matter-she has to. There is no escaping this for Jodi. I'm sure the sex tape is very embarrassing to Jodi to be played in live court. Then she knows soon after this- JM will question her.

If it's a plea, don't they have to read an agreed upon (agreed between the Prosecution and the Defence) Statement of Facts that must be read into the record prior to sentencing? I don't think JM would agree unless the Statement fully described exactly what happened in the bathroom and what Jodi did with the weapons. No?

In court mins when they had a conf long ago, it is noted that Juan doesn't have authority to accept plea deals. They had to call his boss over and that meeting failed.
