I can see how having a gay person in the group would make the banter more likely but they all live in different cities at this point and it's done even without the gay one involved/directed at him. He actually told me a funny story the other day about one of their friends who lives in California and came home to MD for a wedding. He didn't tell anybody he was in town and snuck to one of the other guy's houses in the middle of the night and decorated his car with decals of pink dolphins. California guy left without telling anybody he did it and the guy whose car he decorated was trying to figure it out for days before he got a text with a picture of his friend standing next to his decorated car.
I think it just depends on the group of friends. With my brother and his friends there's not much that's off limits - they make fun of each other for being Jewish or Italian or having a "pedofile mustache". It's just how they are and nobody's feelings get hurt because they all give it as good as they get it.
The 40 year old Virgin scene is a classic. They're at Steve Carell's apartment playing video games and arguing.
Seth Rogan: You're gay, now?
Paul Rudd: No, I'm not gay. I'm just celibate.
S: I think... I mean, that sounds gay. I just want you to know this is, like, the first conversation of, like, three conversations that leads to you being gay. Like, there's this and then in a year it's like, "Oh, you know, I'm kinda gonna want to get back out there, but I think I like guys," and then there's the big, "Oh, I'm... I'm... I'm a gay guy now."
P: You're gay for saying that.
S: I'm gay for saying that?
P: You know how I know you're gay?
S: How? How do you know I'm gay?
P: Because you macramed yourself a pair of jean shorts.
S: You know how I know *you're* gay? You just told me you're not sleeping with women any more.
P: You know how I know you're gay?
S: How? Cause you're gay? And you can tell who other gay people are?
P: You know how I know you're gay?
S: How?
P: You like Coldplay.
Classic. Love that movie.
#jodiarias is about to begin. #travisalexander Fam& Friends were just warned "not to react" 2 Arais testimony of how she killed TA.
Travis' family was told not to react in court. There is something coming in court. News is suspecting the sex tapes.
Catching up here... My siblings and their friends joke this way. They joke about all kinds of inappropriate things, like being gay, rape, different kinds of porn, the pope and kids, etc. (not saying being gay is inappropriate, saying their jokes about it are.) I feel that this kind of joking is rather common, even if it is unsavory to some of us older folk. I don't think so much that it is funny, but that these are big world issues coming into the views of younger minds. They joke to make it less threatening. And then it grows from there. I don't like it, I'm just saying that I see it happen.
I'd like to know what's on these tapes and why the defense thinks they're relevant at all. Like unless he's talking about hitting/raping/liking young boys, WTF?!
its going to be lunch time soon!!
OK the facts....JM talked to the family after he came out of chambers. He probably told them not to show any emotion in court. Something is coming up. Either the way she killed Travis or the tapes....or maybe something else.
Its not on yet is it??
Come on court, hurry up![]()
