I don't think they do. The items are numbered sequentially as they are brought into evidence during the trial. The numbers they receive at the crime scene are for police purposes and I believe are numbered sequentially as they process the scene.

Are you aware of the sites where you can seach newspapers online? I don't know what year you are speaking of but that might be a source for you to obtain some info.
Have you requested copies from LE? Courts?
I would also highly! recommend contacting the Victims Rights Advocate in whatever area it occured. It anything went through the courts they have access and anything they find is free to you.
If anyone went to prison, you can often times also contact DOC or the prison and get copies of records.

Can someone enlighten me as to how or why the Judge is letting Hodie claim this crap about Travis having a penchant for young boys when there is absolutely ZERO evidence to back up her claim? Especially when the "sex tape" couldn't be admitted as evidence until after Hodie actually took the stand. Hodie's testimony alone is not evidence to anything Travis might or might not have done. This is such a load of crap, it sickens me to the core of my being.

From what I understand, the judge has to be more lenient in a DP case in what gets let in. And her reasoning was that the prosecution has a chance to rebut. I am not sure of the exact reasoning - something to do with the appeals process after this trial. They could appeal (or maybe ask for mistrial) because the judge wouldn't allow certain evidence. But I don't see how this was let in still with all of that. I just hope and pray she knows what she's doing.

The article says January 2008 is when she caught him with the pics masturbating, they became an official couple in Feb. 2007 and broke up June/July 2007.
Although she obviously still wanted to be with him after that, as that is when she moved to Mesa to be closer to him.

That's what I discovered going thro all the crime scene photos-before and afters. There are no metal carpet dividers in Travis' house. That dragging picture is the white baseboards. Also, the pictures show the carpet tacks that were there when the police removed the carpet. Travis' carpet from the bedroom that is connected to the bathroom tile (hallway) was rolled under. There were no room divider. Thanks to Tawnidilly for the wonderful pictures inside the house. They are very clear pictures.

Thank you for this. I have been reading through some of your posts and thoughts. I do have a question. When the hunky ME was testifying, did he state whether the wound on Travis' neck was a clean slice or was this sawed through? I cannot imagine the strength that it would have taken to cut through the neck in the manner in which she did. Is it just that she had an extremely sharp knife or that rage was fueling her or both?

he said it was likely done in one slice, he said with a sharp enough knife it would actually take very little force. He said this when the prosecution was interviewing him.
