Jodi Ann Arias shot and stabbed her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander to death

Can someone enlighten me as to how or why the Judge is letting Hodie claim this crap about Travis having a penchant for young boys when there is absolutely ZERO evidence to back up her claim? Especially when the "sex tape" couldn't be admitted as evidence until after Hodie actually took the stand. Hodie's testimony alone is not evidence to anything Travis might or might not have done. This is such a load of crap, it sickens me to the core of my being.

From what I understand, the judge has to be more lenient in a DP case in what gets let in. And her reasoning was that the prosecution has a chance to rebut. I am not sure of the exact reasoning - something to do with the appeals process after this trial. They could appeal (or maybe ask for mistrial) because the judge wouldn't allow certain evidence. But I don't see how this was let in still with all of that. I just hope and pray she knows what she's doing.

Is anyone other than myself considering not watching the trial this week? I am sick of her lies and nothing she says is going to save her from the DP. I don't believe the jury is buying any of her story.

This is not the first time that Arias claimed that Alexander was attracted to children. Arias produced letters she claimed were written by Alexander after she walked in on him while masturbating. Martinez denounced them as forgeries; a handwriting expert said they could have been written by Alexander, but they were not admitted into evidence because they were copies, not originals.

But given the new development, they could come back into play if Martinez, a master strategist as a prosecutor, ?opens the door,? as attorneys say.

According to the transcript of Thursday?s hearing, Arias told psychological counselors and a domestic-violence expert that in January 2008, six months before she killed him, Arias walked in on Alexander in his bedroom when he had photos of young males spread out on his bed.

The abuse expert testified by telephone during Thursday?s hearing that at least two unspecified instances of domestic violence by Alexander occurred after that. She posited that Arias, knowing such a troubling secret about Alexander, would heighten the level of fear she had for Alexander and his need to exert control over her.

Martinez claimed that Arias had alternately said that Alexander was viewing pictures on a computer and viewing printed photographs. Furthermore, he brought two Mesa police investigators to the witness stand to say that they had found no pornographic images of any kind on Alexander?s computer, nor had they found photographs in his house.

Martinez had sought to block the testimony, but Stephens ruled that it was admissible and that Martinez would have ample opportunity to cross-examine Arias on the witness stand.

The article says January 2008 is when she caught him with the pics masturbating, they became an official couple in Feb. 2007 and broke up June/July 2007.
Although she obviously still wanted to be with him after that, as that is when she moved to Mesa to be closer to him.
