there was a pic of the casing w/ one of those yellow cards w/ numbers way back - but i can't find it now
Hmmm, that might be it. The evidence numbers at the crime scene do not necessarily correspond with the evidence numbers referred to in the court records....or do they??? What could be secretive about the casing I wonder? If anything is even secretive at all. I may be reading too much into it.

My father was killed by being shot when I was two months old. He was only 19 years old. I know almost nothing about what happened. Only what my mother has told me. Her details are vague. Her version of events is ridiculous, to say the least. It involves my father being shot five times through a door that he was pounding on. The man who shot him supposedly didn't mean to kill anyone and was afraid my father was going to break the door down. My father was a huge man, 6'4" and over 200 lbs. I have a hope that someday I am able to look into it and find out what really happened.

My mother always paints my father in a bad light. She alludes to petty crimes and possible drug use. Also claims he was physically violent with her. I take everything my mother says with a grain of salt.

Bottom line for me is that I'll never know what kind of man my father would have turned out to be. I never got to know him and he never got to know me. He will never see his grandkids. He never had a chance to lead a "good" adult life because his life was ended way too soon. In honor of all that he will never have I chose to name my son after him.

Hey guys- been 'lurking' all weekend and keeping up on this thread as best as I can, but been way to busy to post which is why I've been 'silent' since Friday. Happy to finally be able to post again. Loving the discussions you all have been having! I just wanted to pop in and say I'm SOOOO looking forward to tomorrow and can't wait to be watching and participating on this thread at the same time. Like some of you here, I am able to watch while I'm at work...stream on my comp and plug in the headphones. (And HATE when somebody comes up to my desk and 'interrupts' me! Damn work. Hehe.) Ok- time to get some rest so I can be awake and alert enough tomorrow to multi-task! Thank you all for the entertaining discussions over these last couple days...

Yup- I remember this. He said the defense should rest by the 11th. So much for that estimate!

A recording of Travis Alexander in one of the last speeches he ever gave.

I just listened to this recording of Travis speaking at a seminar - thank u rachy- it is an audio link at the bottom of the page. I was multitasking while listening, but had to go back cause i heard Travis say the words "rough up, rape, sex, murder -" he was quoting a 50 Cent song at about 38 minutes - very shocking and ironic to hear him utter those words.

Yes he did say no hesitation marks I remember that also so however she did it she never stopped just kept going. I also take interest with the wound on the neck that he said the right carotid artery and right side of the jugular were cut thru, my opinion is that this would be consistant with a left handed person standing over someone from behind and you would by nature go over to the right side to slash that type of wound and the right side would be deeper also kind of losing the cut as it approached the left because positioning of the hand. I also think his throat was cut as he was approaching the bedroom from the hall and I feel he was probably so weak that he was probably trying to crawll drag his way there by this point and then she just reached down and pulled his head back. Wonder how many more days of her lying testimony we have to listen to before the man JM gets to go at her!!

That's what I discovered going thro all the crime scene photos-before and afters. There are no metal carpet dividers in Travis' house. That dragging picture is the white baseboards. Also, the pictures show the carpet tacks that were there when the police removed the carpet. Travis' carpet from the bedroom that is connected to the bathroom tile (hallway) was rolled under. There were no room divider. Thanks to Tawnidilly for the wonderful pictures inside the house. They are very clear pictures.

I do graphic design and marketing, so I'm lucky enough NOT to be on the same computer system as anyone else in our firm. They have a lot of restrictions - any social media, youTube, forums...etc. I have to access so many websites for my job, that I get to be on a non-monitored computer with no blocks. Which means I can watch/listen to the trial without detection. Its the little things that make me happy!!!
It is this sight I cant get at work MDS, azcentral freezes my computer and so I found wildabouttrials and that one works for me. Get to listen on headphones of course and occasionally sneak a peak at what is going on. I work in a hospital so they block a lot. Sometimes I am a little surprised at things I can get into and then some non threatening I cannot. Go Figure huh! Anyway happy Monday all starts 12:30 p in my area.

Can she drag this poor victim's name in the mud any more??????? I just want Travis's sisters to be allowed just 2 minutes in a room alone with her. Cannot believe the judge allowed this shit.

Ahhh yes.... LOL - the 80's were just so full of romance. It's the only time in America, where stalking could be portrayed as hot. Just like The Police "I'll Be Watching You"....CREEPY!!!!! *shiver*

Its sad to sit here and listen to him talk and make people laugh and have such a great time knowing what horrible things happen to him a month later.
I felt the same way...chills ran down my spine. Just ONE MONTH before she killed him. This whole case just makes me want to burst into tears, whenever I see the crime scene photos, or that slide show his friends and family put together in his memory. Total waterworks. Poor Travis.......let's just pray this guy gets some goddamned justice in the end!!!!!!

I cannot imagine the strength that it would have taken to cut through the neck in the manner in which she did. Is it just that she had an extremely sharp knife or that rage was fueling her or both?
Hi dianalyn!! I'm not sure if your question was for me or Nyx276 - but it's a Very good question!! Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe the ME said the wound was due to a knife being stabbed into the side of the neck (he wasn't sure if it was a left to right or a right to left direction) and sliced through. Due to the stage of decomposition, the skin flaps on either side of the slice, had sort of "wilted" and when he tried to press the two pieces back together, the slice didn't give him a solid picture as to whether or not it was sawed or sliced -- but DEFINITELY with an extremely sharp object. Maybe this is how Jodi cut herself...inflicting this fatal wound on Travis. However, I agree with you...this one wound in particular has my head spinning. Seems SO angry and powerful, how deep it was...I realize when individuals are hyped up on adrenaline, in some cases, they can lift a 2,000+ LB vehicle, so, I guess you never know. Mixing Jodi's psychopathy, adrenaline and rage for Travis, I guess she had a LOT of strength behind those stringy arms. So brutal and disgusting. I think you've got the right idea with this though! (Sorry if your questions was not directed at me!) :-)

OMG Justice11!!!! I am so sorry about this....thank you for sharing your story. I am in such admiration of everyone opening up in this forum...the vulnerability and the devastation is beautiful in a way. It reminds me that there are really good people out there...who have suffered such losses. Jodi is another person, who has added to good people's misery and loss. We need to rid the world of scumbags who take our loved ones away. It angers me to learn about other people's hurt...I am deeply and sincerely sorry for the loss of your father at such a young age. It's completely UNFAIR...you should have had your father in your life. Fuck it makes me so sad and sick when I think about the losers out there...killing for no reason!! SENSELESS!!!! Anyway, I'm going to give myself a stroke, if I don't tone down my emotion & passion for everything! LOL - This case hits close to home for all of us on different levels. Mine (much like others in this forum) comes from a place of being previously abused and mistreated by an ex boyfriend...choosing to stay, and let him use me when it was convenient for him, and shutting my mouth and staying away without complaint, when he was done with me, or annoyed by my presence. It went on for way too long...and I was too blind and thought I was in love, to stop it. Did I ever seek revenge? NO! Did I ever hurt him in return?? NO! Sure I felt jealousies, and I knew he was seeing multiple women at a time, while using me in the process...but I was so pathetic and had such disregard for my own being that I allowed it to go on and on. I knew one day, when I finally cut all ties with him...that karma would bite him in the ass. One day, people who hurt others, will get theirs. I just feel that to be true... Anyway, I'm rambling. I just wanted to thank you for your awesomeness, and openness... We're all here for you, and we're all together through this horrific journey during trial.
Let's just hope Jodi, "gets hers" in the end...
