Get this, when I first moved here, the only freeways were the I-10 and the I-17 and the US 60. Of course there were less people, but the traffic got pretty bad. I remember having appointments at one time in North Scottsdale and taking Pima all the way up. Took at least an hour. It takes 20 minutes now on the 101.

I remember those days... this valley has grown sooooo much since I first moved here.

It's kinda funny--where we live now would have been nothing but desert when I moved here. I wouldn't have been able to fathom living so far out. Now, it doesn't seem that far at all. I kinda like the views...

So, since so many lurkers and noobs are coming out I thought it was time I did too. I've been reading mydeathspace for years and years, but never registered. I remember there was a time (could have been a specific thread, though) where everyone was just an asshole to newcomers for some reason so I never dared comment, but any way. I'm so obsessed with this trial that I need to plan my calls at work around their schedule so I don't miss not one moment of Flores' rebuttal. Does anyone know what time the court recess?

I used to live in Phoenix and work in Scottsdale back in 2005. It would take me at least an hour to get home. I was pregnant with my son at the time and so afraid I was going to go into labor on that stupid freeway lol

Yeah, but there was a point in the snark. That's fine, I got the specific numbers. But like I said, suicide is amazingly easy to accomplish in the prison system if you're serious. Custody staff does not do the cell checks appropriately, like they're supposed to do. They get complacent and lazy (this is based off of personal experience).

Their "relationship" was most definitely toxic. Unfortunately, we only have Jodi's side of why that was so. Pretty convenient for her that she murdered him, isn't it? She can now trash his name, accuse him of anal rape, pedophilia, and many other awful things. I've got a serious problem with that.

My thoughts exactly!! I've dated some men who treated like or as worse than Travis treated her. I didn't drive even 10 miles to go to their house, get my freak on, take dirty pictures then brutally murder them. They both could have and should have WALKED AWAY.
