So, since so many lurkers and noobs are coming out I thought it was time I did too. I've been reading mydeathspace for years and years, but never registered. I remember there was a time (could have been a specific thread, though) where everyone was just an asshole to newcomers for some reason so I never dared comment, but any way. I'm so obsessed with this trial that I need to plan my calls at work around their schedule so I don't miss not one moment of Flores' rebuttal. Does anyone know what time the court recess?

I used to live right on Dobson and Ray - best location EVER!!! Right by the Chandler mall and the freeway. I like Laveen, but I miss being really close to everything. Yeah, East Mesa is a nightmare if you have to commute during rush hour!

I work in that area. The commute from East Mesa is cake ever since they widened US60 and opened the 202 all the way around. It doesn't start to suck until you get to Tempe, but fortunately I don't have to go that far.

Yeah, it definitely is much better than it used to be. I stayed in QC with my brother's family a summer from college (I think in 2002) and worked in Phoenix. It took me about 90 minutes each way!!! Now if only they could find a way to improve the I-10 curve and tunnel!!

i google chrome... the other day it gave me a warning when i clicked on a thread because someone had posted a pic or linked a page that was questionable.

NQ told me that it wasn't a problem - but it happens more often with chrome users. i just think it's nice to get warnings telling you to be careful what you click on a certain page.

On Chrome at home and Firefox at work. Ya know, come to think of it, I only have the problem on my work computer. So there ya go! I'll have to use two different browsers (Salesforce doesn't work as well on Chrome) but if it'll avoid Iminent, it'll be worth it!!

Lunch break from 12:00-1:30
10 minute break in afternoon
Ends around 4:30
No court on Fridays.

The judge is notorious for running late for start times. :/

I live very close to there, off of Dobson, actually.

Get this, when I first moved here, the only freeways were the I-10 and the I-17 and the US 60. Of course there were less people, but the traffic got pretty bad. I remember having appointments at one time in North Scottsdale and taking Pima all the way up. Took at least an hour. It takes 20 minutes now on the 101.
