Welcome! I agree. Everyone has been waiting so long for Jodi to take the stand but now that she has, we want to get it overwith already - or at least let someone besides Wurmi ask questions. Really can't wait to hear him say "I have no more questions" because then its party time!

I'm still excited for her to be on the stand, but you're right - it's only because I cannot wait til JM gets ahold of her.... Wormi is going to lose his mind with objections!

I am interested to see how she explains the last couple months before the murder and how much she will be able to "recall" of June 4th 2008 itself. Even if Wormi Nurmi is asking the questions. I just have a feeling it will take a couple days to get there.

Yes, and the reason she left had something to do with our second favorite liar, Matt McCartney, aka The Wizard!

Was thinking how Jodi will be able to explain away her lies and other aspects of this crime, and here is what I’m expecting…

The Murder: Okay, we already know its going to be that after all her “suffering” and holding everything in, she finally snapped.

The Cleanup: She panicked and tried to erase the signs of what had happened.

The Call & Voicemail: After she left his home, Jodi’s mind replaced the memories of what had happened in an effort to protect her from the trauma she had just experienced. When she called him, she truly believed she was just heading to UT and hadn’t seen Travis in months. This would also explain away the journal entries and her behavior with Ryan – more coping!

Story #1 to Detective Flores: Again, with her mind protecting her from her trauma, Jodi has no current recollection of the events and denies being there – even after all of the evidence and the pictures. Jodi doesn’t understand and is trying to work out how her hair and palm print were there since she doesn’t remember being there.

Story #2 to DF: Jodi realizes that the evidence makes it “seem” like she was there and so she her mind starts to accept her being there, but cannot yet cope with the trauma of her being the killer of a man she “loved” and thus creates an alternate reality for her.

Self-defense claim 2 years later: Jodi has been getting psychological treatment and as she deals with the various issues caused by the trauma in her life and the trauma during the killing, specific details start to come back to her. She begins to remember bit by bit until she can finally accept that yes, she did kill Travis, but it was self defense.

Disclaimer: I don’t believe any of this crap, but I think this is what Jodi and the psych expert are going to try and claim. Seems the only way that they can try to make her lies and cover-up attempts seem like they weren’t intentional. Try and get her credibility back. Sigh…lies, lies, lies…

First time I see a mexican newspaper says something about JA's case, what I noticed is they described HER as the sexual deviant and said her lawyers put her on the stand to try to get the jury's sympathy because she is facing death penalty.

BTW, thank you all for keeping the updates, is hard for me to watch the trial online, so your posts keep me alive
Phoenix-A woman accused of killing her lover in the bathroom of his home in Arizona, described Wednesday's repeated graphic details of sex that had turned while the hot Mormon faith during his initial courtship.

Jodi Arias, 32 years old, took the witness stand in a day full of provocative statements about the volatile relationship that ended when she killed Travis Alexander causing death after a day of lust and sex and pornographic photos .

Arias spent the first two days of testimony by recounting his childhood and troubled romances as a teenager and when I was twenty years old, and on Wednesday provided crucial details about his relationship with Alexander.

Arias faces the death penalty if it becomes charged with murder in a case that seems worthy of the tabloids with tales of sex, violence and betrayal.

His team's defense lawyers did take the stand in an apparent attempt to win the sympathy of the jury in the hope that they see her as the victim of a philandering tyrant.

She says he killed in self-defense.

Prosecutors described Arias as a jealous ex-girlfriend who killed the man who was dedicated to motivating speeches.

The testimony was an unusual blend of Mormon theology and a description of their relationship, rated X.

At one point, Alexander was shown photographs of where he appears naked.

Alexander, who was a Mormon, Arias persuaded to become a member of the church and baptized in late 2006, as she recounted.

But at the same time, said he felt uncomfortable with the behavior of Alexander in the room as it was contradictory to the teachings of the church that forbids sex before marriage.

The same day that the baptized, Arias said the two retreated to the bedroom, took off their clothes to be used in church and had sex which cataloged as painful.

Report: Bryan Carr Is New Man In Jodi Arias' Life

Accused murderer Jodi Arias has a new man in her life, according to a report by Azcentral.com.

The man, identified by the news network as Bryan Carr, said he has been visiting Arias behind bars for more than a year. He said the couple met through a mutual friend prior to her arrest and connected on Facebook.

Carr told Azcentral.com that Arias is not the person she is portrayed to be by the media.

"She's not that person at all. She's the nicest girl you'll ever meet," Carr told the news network in an exclusive interview.

Carr said he reached out to Arias after she was incarcerated because his sister had been in an abusive relationship. Since the start of Arias' trial, Carr said he has been attendance to support her.

Arias, a 32-year-old photographer, is accused of shooting her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in the face, stabbing him 27 times and slitting his throat from ear to ear in the shower of his Mesa, Ariz., apartment on June 4, 2008. The defense team has attempted to portray Arias as a victim of domestic violence. Arias testified on Monday that Alexander "attacked me and I defended myself." Prosecutors allege she was a jealous and vengeful ex.

Late last month, HLN's Nancy Grace reported a source inside the jail where Arias is being held told her Arias has a girlfriend behind bars. Carr did not detail the nature of his relationship with Arias, so it remains unclear if they are just friends or are romantically involved.

Carr did however, say he has spoken to Arias since the start of her trial and she has indicated the explicit sexual details that have been revealed in court are taking a toll on her.

"She did admit it's very embarrassing for her -- the sexual part of it," Carr told Azcentral.com.

Arias' case is full of violence, sex, betrayal and lies dating back to 2008. Much of the murder suspect's sex life has been revealed in court during the last few weeks.

Carr said Arias spends much of her time behind bars working on her artwork. Arias' artwork, and the sale of it on eBay, was recently featured in an article by HuffPost. At that time, the eBay sales had raked in more than $1,000 in winning bids. Bids on some of the items have since skyrocketed.

According to the auction listings, "All profits go towards Jodi's family traveling expenses to the trial, other fees, and of course money for Jodi so she can eat better food than what they serve in jail."

Aside from preoccupying herself with her artwork, Carr told Azcentral.com that Arias has been receiving a lot of hate mail from the outside.

"I wish everyone could meet Jodi because they would have a different outlook on her," Carr said.

Arias' trial is expected to last until mid-April. If convicted, she could face the death penalty.

She's embarrassed about the sexual part of it but not the brutal way she killed him?! I call BS. She's not embarrassed by any of it. That would require feeling emotion and I'm pretty sure she's incapable of that

Now compare your answers to Jodi's while she was on the stand:

QUESTION: What brought you to [Travis's] home? And, this is February. Do you remember the day?
JODI: "Not exactly, but it would have been the first or the second maybe the third."

QUESTION: You surprise Mr. Alexander in early February. Do you remember about what time you arrived in the home?
JODI: "I had to work that night, so I hit the road. I don't remember. I think it was around 2:30 or 3 in the morning."

QUESTION: So tell us what happened when you arrived?
JODI: "I pulled up to his house and I was kind of excited the whole trip. I was like thinking I mean he thought it was hilarious when I came, so I thought it would be funny to do that? but as I approached the door I had doubts. I thought I kind of felt stupid. I was like what is he going to think. I'm showing up at his house at 3 o?clock in the morning. So I started to go back and forth and waver and then I walked back to my car and then I stopped. I was going to get all the way in the car and just go back because I felt silly, but I turned around and looked at the house one more time and I noticed in the upper window there were lights flashing like that was the lock were the screen would have been for the um television or movies or whatever. So somebody was awake, so I decided ok what the heck, so before I could change my mind I went back to the front door and rang the doorbell."

    QUESTION: Who answered the door?
    JODI: "Travis and Napoleon."
ATTORNEY: "And Napoleon is his dog right?"
JODI: "Yes. I could hear him before anything else . . . he was barking very loudly when the doorbell rang."

QUESTION: Did Mr. Alexander appear to you to be happy to see you?
JODI: "Yes. He looked very surprised and he had a big grin on his face."
ATTORNEY: "What happened after that? Did he let you in the home? How did that go?"
JODI: "He pulled me into the house. It was cold out, so it was February so I had a jacket on with a hood. And he just stood there kind of a similar reaction to me when he showed up. Dumbfounded, but happy like what the heck. And then his roommate came downstairs and he, Travis, yanked the hood off my head and said: Well this is Jodi."
