I have no idea what was said but my guess is that other inmates have complained about her special treatment in court. Inmates have nothing but time, they file frivolous lawsuits all the time. The sheriffs jail has a legal section in their library and each inmate has a public defender... I think it's a cover their ass move.

I was typing the trial as it was going and finishing up with the guy started talkin, and from what I understood, the sheriff doesn't like the fact that Jodi is moving around freely and left to sit by herself for long periods of time while they are in chambers or something like that. I really didn't get it all

Can all these text messages that Jodi was talking about - especially the day that Travis sent pics of his "erection" - be documented? I assume when Martinez cross-examines he might have her actually read the text messages out loud instead of the way she's just telling this story about how innocent she was and was embarrased by the picture of his junk.

HLN makes me laugh. They have a red warning label on the screen that says "Warning Graphic Language" and they keep warning about the chil'ren.

They also mute it when it gets "graphic". I don't think I can take their random cutting to commercials and commentary over the trial today, even if it means I'm stuck at the computer with earbuds in for the next couple of hours.

If she saved the messages they can retrieve them, if she deleted them back then, no. OR if he pulled them shortly after she was arrested, even if she deleted them, he may have been able to get them. I worked for VZ, they only kept records of texts for 2 years IIRC

I thought they said they had over 80,000 text messages from Travis' phone? that is what the defense was raising a stink about - about not having those until 2010. I'm not sure if those were all of his messages or all the ones sent between Travis and Jodi.

She also said her mother is very "flat", non emotional. Doesn't talk to anyone and gets to leave thru the employee exit. She didn't see it but heard that she tried to offer condolences to someone on team Travis and they walked away from her.

They were both of theirs. I know he complained about not getting them until 2010, but they never said when they subpeona'd them that I'm aware of. I did correct my comment, because I realized I left part out. We often had to explain to people that they needed a subpeona to get their own records and there is a time limit imposed even with a subpeona. I'm thinking it's 2 years, but I can check.

I think they must have pulled all her cell phone records right away, right? It makes sense that they would have.

Question is, are they admissable? I guess they would be now since she testified about them...

The local news is recapping the trial every night. That's probably what she's seeing.
