I used to hear that rumor too, but didn't remember which brand it was supposed to be. It was because some mormons would say that whichever brand's products were OK (say Coke). Then non-mormons would say that it was OK because the LDS church owns stock in Coke. I never had any idea if it was true or not though.

He posted a whole long thing about Jodi's testimony but edited to " If you assume that EVERY word of testimony--- dribbling like putrid puss from her lips-- is a lie you won't be half wrong." I have no idea if he did or didn't drink it. His friends say he didn't but then again they didn't know everything about him. If he really did get a mouth hug in the park, drinking chai tea was the least of his concerns.

I live in Texas and I wish this trial was in Texas....as you can see we have a very active death row and we off mofo's to the tune of one a month or more ...and sometimes have a pachanga after !!

Yep Coffee and tea are still not allowed. Most mormons I know still avoid Coke like it has actual cocaine in it. But will drink most any other soda whether or not it has caffeine. Some are still very strict and wont drink ANYTHING with caffeine.

Yep, I have another co-worker who only drinks Sprite and specific brands of root beer (some have it, some don't).

He's the one who reminds me of Dan Freeman... very, strict.
