Oh, I think we are all aware of that. What we see is that her upbringing and experiences are not very different from our own. I had a string of shitty relationships too. I think a lot of us have. Listening to her, I think most people, unless they've been pretty lucky, are fairly underwhelmed by her experiences. They're kind of normal IMHO.

In all seriousness, I totally get why the defense has to lay the groundwork, but to take the approach that "everyone is to blame but me"..."My dad, my mom, Bobby "The Vamp", Travis, etc. Where does it end? When does it just need to be "I did this, and I have no explanation for it. I am so sorry" (NOT that it would bring Travis back or make his family whole again, I'm not saying that at all.) I just think doing something like this and taking everyone down with you that you have known in your life is just as low as it gets. I don't think any of those people, including Travis, was perfect by any stretch. But, how far should one go to try to get out of it? That's the part that continues to piss me off (and the same thing that got my lack of panties in a wad about Casey Anthony.) Whatever kind of "path" they are (i.e. sociopath, psychopath, etc), why not show a tiny bit of human compassion by just saying "nobody else is to blame but me." Holy Jaysus, I am on a rant...sorry!

Do you see some of the traits of either of these disorders in what you've seen of Jodi so far?

You know what I see is a kind of grab bag of issues with her...until yesterday (which I missed her testimony...boo) I didn't really know much about her life growing up...DISCLAIMER..I have not treated nor do I know Ms. Arias...but what I do see is a bit of a mixture. Sometimes I think she a total sociopath..then Ill get more info and I do tend to lean towards the Borderline Spectrum... I will actuall be able to observe her today on the stand. Again these are just my clinical observations..please don't smite or bash..thanks.

I doubt she will ever take responsiblity or make any effort to apologize..and if the judge forces her to at sentencing it will be hollow.

Initially, I thought she was borderline, but now lean more towards anti-social. But I don't think we know enough about her childhood /teenage years - and her self reporting is unrelaible.

Her whole testimony just seemed like she was reading it from a script. None of it "felt" like it was coming from a genuine place, which it should of if any of it was true. When you're recalling a time in your life when you were abused, I would imagine it would bring up some sort of emotion, anger, sadness, SOMETHING. The only emotion I saw was her smile when talking about the abuse from Bobby starting. Which is beyond bizarre.

Det. Flores has been there every day. Does this usually happen with trials? To the detectives involved attend every day to see it though? Is it a personal choice? Just curious. If anyone knows.

Her whole testimony just seemed like she was reading it from a script. None of it "felt" like it was coming from a genuine place, which it should of if any of it was true. When you're recalling a time in your life when you were abused, I would imagine it would bring up some sort of emotion, anger, sadness, SOMETHING. The only emotion I saw was her smile when talking about the abuse from Bobby starting. Which is beyond bizarre.

The only time she choked up was when she talked about her supposed suicidal thoughts. POOR JODI
