Daniel seems to be a nosy busy body. He obviously was interested in Jodi and I think maybe a bit jealous of Travis. He may have unknowingly paid a part in Jodi's melt down and murder. If he really was Travis' friend he would not have discussed relationship issues with Jodi. People talking sympathetically with her may have reinforced her crazy thinking in regards to her thinking the relationship was more than it really was. Travis had made it known to Jodi that she wasn't going to ever be his wife, yet she seemed to be in denial about that. They validated her feelings, which may have further provoked her feelings of being wronged by Travis. It seems a lot of people in Travis' life were way too far in his personal business. Creepygus was a mentor to Jodi and as a part of his mentoring he counseled Jodi on her relationship issues? It feels like poor boundaries everywhere.

May be a longshot, but perhaps its that guy who used to work work with Jodi and her ex sugar daddy who said that they dated while they were working and that Jodi had a temper(hole in the wall). It could both discredit the sugar daddy's honesty and show that Jodi was a bit nuts some time ago. I know on the Travis FB page they were really pressing that dude to contact the DA.

The thing about the recorded calls...wouldn't it matter which state they were recorded in? Isn't it illegal to record somebody in the state of CA without their knowledge and approval? I don't remember state laws, But I worked for a finance company for a long time. There were some places we called where we were restricted on recording. (maybe the laws have changed since then, IDK)

This is just appealing the denial of the Motion for Mistrial.

Basically, they want another judge to overrule the presiding judge since she told them "No mistrial for you!"
