Agreed. I think that is why they are successful at it! Bundy was really likable if I recall. I can't think how many times you hear the "They were such a nice person, I would have never thought they could do this." She really is everything they've described. She's a little awkward in social groups, but really great one-on-one. Comes across as very sincere. It took me a while to believe she was guilty, but as the stories continued to change and more evidence came out, it became obvious. I'm hoping that if, as a person who liked her, I would gladly proclaim "guilty" as a juror and sentence her to death, I'm sure hoping those 12 will be able to do the same!!!

Totally agree. Sociopaths do WHATEVER is necessary to gain what they need. They only care about themselves, and sometimes acting like a nice person is beneficial to themselves, so they act in such a way. I read "The Sociopath Next Door" (recommended by someone on this thread!) and learned lots about sociopaths. Jodi fits the profile perfectly.

Jodi is the DEFINITION of a sociopath. Example, just look at her reaction to the photo they showed yesterday! She stared at it, completely still, with almost a look of awe on her face, until she heard his sister yell, then and ONLY then was she like "oh shit, I should be upset by this" ... cue fake cry and hair curtain.

Actually I knew them both (Travis less than Jodi) but I never knew of their relationship. I knew them both completely separately. She moved into my ward and it was a ward with a lot of students, so we had a lot of transitioning. So they created a "fellowshipping committee" of which I was the head of. We organized activities and met all the newbies. I first met her at one of these gatherings. She was siting at the kitchen island bar all by herself and I went and sat next to her. She told me she was from California and had just moved here. I asked her why she moved and she said it was because of the guy she was dating and that they wanted to live closer together instead of being long distance. (I didn't know until the trial that they were actually broken up at the time and that Travis freaked out that she moved so close to him) I don't think she ever said the guys name, but even if she had I wouldn't have thought twice. Although I remember my short interactions the few times that Travis was at the same party or gathering as me, I never knew him personally and his name wouldn't have stuck. When I saw his picture after he died I knew instantly who he was but I wouldn't have thought twice if she'd said his name.
She told me a lot of the stuff you've already heard. Talked to me about her working for prepaid legal and what that was (I'd never heard of it, and I think MLM are complete scam) and also told me about her passion for photography. We probably talked for about 30 minutes all in all. I remember thinking that I wanted to be friends with her cause she seemed like a cool girl. We talked about hanging out some time. She didn't really come to church though, and I remember thinking she was more interested in getting to know the guys and not so much making friends with the girls. Didn't think much of it till now though, since there are plenty of girls like that.
Her demeanor like you see in court and on the interrogations is very true to who she is in real life. BTW - I sure hope she takes the stand because I would love to see JM rip her to shreds and break away that sugar-coating she presents!!

Not only do these idiots get the story completely wrong, they can't even get her name right... I want to throw my TV through the window every time.
Yep. The way some people have stated she seems stand-offish or shy when they first met her is another sign. She's studying--trying to figure out how she's supposed to act around them.
She moved into my ward and I was in charge of welcoming new people so spoke with her on several occasions. No interest in pyramid schemes (or circle schemes, or even triangle schemes for that matter!!!) ;)

It's the older attorney guy that's bald on jinkasaurus's show. He's said it like 5 times just today!
I've known many, many churches that are involved with prisoners and prison systems. It's not just the Mormon faith.
It's really not that uncommon at all. Many members of these churches make it a goal to go into these prison systems to save peoples souls.
Brother and sister seem very dedicated to their faith and I can NEVER fault anybody for being true to their beliefs.
Most religions teach us that to admit to sin and tell the truth and ask for forgiveness will set your soul free.
If Jodi would take the stand and admit to everybody and GOD the TRUTH and her sin, it most likely will set her free in her soul. His family deserves that much.
