Thank you creepy dude for getting us all booted out of the courtroom. One more reason to dislike you.

i thought the 5th was for self incrimination???
maybe he was cheating on his fiancee with someone in that car
- Beauty is a beast.
Okay... please excuse the brain fart I just had... Why is the guy in the car important?
Hum, I watched all of Searcy's shit but am legitimately confused. Whose name is he refusing to write down? Of what importance is this person's name??
"Anndd ifff I reefffuusssseeeeee?"
Gus reminds me of a Disney Hyena: (not sure which one though)
ETA: Nevermind. Definitely the one on the left.
I'm guessing court is adjourned for today? Since Judge kicked everyone out to have a private counsel with the creepy asshole?
v. To decline to give self-incriminating information. Refers to the fifth amendment of the US Constitution, which states that no citizen "shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself..."
So either this dude fucked up somehow or he is retarded and is trying to play Law and Order and got his term wrong.
Anyone else think the reason it's not televised is because prosecution requested it not be for the moment... Therefore not giving Searcy what he really wants: more time and more drama surrounding him?
Maybe he has made the entire thing up and now doesn't want to get into trouble for it. Could be he realizes that since no one was in the car writing anything down would further perjurer himself. Granted I don't think he is that smart, I think he just thinks he can refuse and it will be the way he played this out in his head.
what is it he needs to ask his lawyer about? if he doesnt leave town tomorrow. lol this guy is totally unaware that this isnt about him or going to revolve around him either. what a ding dong
I'm sorry this is a murder trial, the entertainment is priceless ...
And this includes both sides, Chris Hughes, good Mormon boy that he is, refuses to acknowledge he called Travis out on his abusive behavior, and Guy Searcy who expects to be believed because he, "said so."
But if he admits to there not being anyone in the car, he just lied under oath.
Homeboy is fucked either way
I seen somebody post this on twitter and it is so true
He is that guy. You know, the one that shows up and you say....Oh crap, lets get TFO of here.
Ha! Someone with the last name of Hughes just favorited my Gus Searcy tweet...![]()
Well... with the break from Slimey-Searcy... I can now hose down my computer with bleach. *scrubbing slime off*
That was so awkward... you could feel him loving the moment where he felt like everyone was hanging on his word and what he decides to do. Drumming his fingers and smirking on stand... wtf?
I do think it's uncool that Hughes most likely was trying to bully people into not testifying for the defense. I feel like Hughes lied a bit on the stand earlier when denying that he told Searcy not to testify. Didn't Searcy want to testify for the prosecution in the first place, but they didn't want him/didn't respond, and he was mad about it and went to the defense?
