Ugh this case is a clusterfuck. I afraid every time someone cries mistrial or misconduct it will eventually stick. They don't have a defense so throwing the whole thing is pretty much their only option. Searcy drips creepiness. Worse than a cliche used car salesman. So smug.

Not really testifying FOR them, but questioning her because Chris Hughes said he got the information that Gus was on the defense list from his wife, Sky. That, plus I'm sure the defense is going to ask her how exactly he LIED to her.
To say how she knew within a few hours that Gus Searcy was being called by the defense.

I am probably wrong too, but I think they are Covering Their Asses-if she gets found guilty there is an automatic appeal process. They can use any of these reasons (mistrial requests) as grounds for a new trial. I would only guess they would have to come up w/some great new lawyer for appeal or.....a really soft judge(s) to let them re-try her on appeal. JMOI'm probably wrong too
Pretty sure if there is an aquittal they can try for something lesser... if there is a mistrial murder one is still on the table.
If there is an acquittal the trial is over. She can't be acquitted of murder then tried for manslaughter.
By the way, Ron. I would believe he feared for his life if he punched her while she was coming at her with a knife. And I do think she hulked out.
I just want to tell you that when I lived in NM my neighbor was attacked by his wife. Blind-sided by her with a stab to the stomach. He was 250 lbs., she was 120 lbs. He went down immediately. She admitted to never being abused by him and just flipped because she was home sick and snapped. You may not believe she could have done this alone, but you are among the minority with that opinion. Time to own up to the fact that you could get your ass handed to you by a petit woman!
