Yeah, who knows. Though she didn't come off as arrogant to me. She did come off very firmly partial, though. She should have toned that down because I can see were it would anger some people and especially angered some if she came across as arrogant. I guess we'll never know what really happened. I felt terrible for Jeff Ashton. He put his entire heart and soul into that. Watching interviews of him afterwards and listening to him speak of the emotional toll it took on him was sad. I didn't care much for Linda Burdick. I hope that this jury has a much more clear picture of what happened, otherwise it might be the same outcome.

I don't think we will see the same outcome. There's no need to prove murder with this one. Also, if he was just stabbed, self-defense would maybe be plausible. But stabbed 27 (29? I hear different accounts) times - 9 in the back - throat slashed ear to ear and shot in the head... that is a little more difficult to explain.

You would think so, but did she ever go to an ER? It did say she was on suicide watch when she first got arrested which actually surprised me.

I noticed the hardware to one of the sinks is missing as well, the side that had the blood all over it. Also an air freshener.

This picture helps show that the sink he probably stumbled to after first getting stabbed was relatively close to the shower.

When she gets on the stand to explain why she did what she did is when it's going to get interesting. I hope that they stick with their decision to put her on. To explain the overkill I imagine it going something like this; "He was going to kill me. I had no choice but to defend myself. After I overcame him I just kind of blacked out. I started remembering everything he did to me. The sex abuse, the manipulation, all those times he hit me, the way he used me, it just all came crashing down on me and I took it out on him when I was defending myself. I just blacked out. (insert a bunch of crying) I didn't know what I did to him until after I had already done it."

She may or may not take the stand. I'm sure she probably wants to, but I'd bet her attorneys do not. If she does, I will be RIVETED to the screen. I am also wondering how the defense is going to try to prove he was abusive. As far as I know, there is NO evidence that he was abusive to her or any other girl. I guess we'll see.

I looked at some of the other pics on there and noticed how they avoided the whole area where evidence was taken. When it was for sale, there were still holes in the wall and carpet, fingerprint powder and leucocrystal violet everywhere.

Years ago I had a friend get killed in a plane crash in Texas. He was thrown clean of the plane and his foot was severed off. They didn't find him for almost a week in 100+ degree weather. Even after everything had been removed, the open field where he was found reeked for months. This makes me really wonder what they had to do to the house to make it liveable afterwards.
I'm not even sure if anyone IS living in it. The current owner bought it out of foreclosure, likely fixed it up and then listed it again two months later. It was on the market for a year and they pulled it off.

It could be an investor that just decided to sit on it for a while. Maybe the publicity from the case was causing them not to have any reasonable offers on it. Everything else in the area is selling crazy fast right now.

I live about 4 miles due north of Travis' house and I'm very familiar with this area. I'd bet $100 that everything else in that neighborhood has sold much more quickly.

i have been thinking - she has to take the stand if she uses self defense - she hasn't actually told any one the story - except her atty - she never told LE, or the press, there isn't any physical evidence except those letters she forged that have already been thrown out of court, i am assuming she doesn't have any hospital visits or pics of bruises, and they can't let her shrink tell the story for her, so past her atty just telling the jury in closing arguements there is no other way to get the story out - then they would prolly call in experts about abuse

That is a good point. I didn't realize that she never told Flores or any LE about the self defense. Hmmmm, very interesting.

I think they will try to use emails, text messages, etc. to show an "abusive" relationship. They will probably use people who can attest to it (or claim to), and of course the professionals. Beyond that, what do they have? Other than Jodi's story...not much. I really hope she takes the stand.

yep she stuck w/ the nijas until 2010, and it was thru her atty's the entered her plea - innocent because of self defense - so she never actually has "confessed" to any one yet - except her cellmate - donavan - because those are the stories she is putting in her blog

I wasn't aware she never told Flores, either. I assumed at some point she did. Interesting.

Glad to see the pics up again! It helps give a better idea of the layout of the house.

I see the air freshener and hardware was gone when you guys were there as well. Did the house have a weird smell to it at all? How were you able to get in?

Thanks again for taking them and posting!

One text that gets repeatedly mentioned by jodi supporters has travis apologizing for "hitting her in the face."

The problem is that Travis isn't alive to explain the context of that message. He might have been eating a grapefruit, and juice from that grapefruit squirted and "hit her in the face." Or more likely, it could have been sexual and that during sex he ejaculated and he "hit her in the face." There is no context, just like there is no context on the "Travis Alexander's" tee-shirt photo. I read that several of those shirts were made, and that the back of that shirt says "Being Better Blog." Without context, we don't know. I'm shocked that the prosecution doesn't seek to preclude this stuff as hearsay.

I'm not sure why it's not dismissed as hearsay either. A lot of stuff the defense is going with is just based on what Jodi claims or misinterpreted or vague texts or behaviors. The prosecution came with some clear evidence, so hopefully the jury will realize that in the end.

I see that both of Jodi's paintings on ebay are almost at 2k a piece right now.

    http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40

Here is a comprehensive list of websites, pictures, videos, etc:

Edit: No worries about gangs of people wanting Jodi's art, it seems the bidding is just between the same 2 weirdos on both pieces.
