I know this is recapping what was said earlier, but WOW, JA is a master manipulator. The fake eye "pleading" when Leslie was on the stand. I can't get over it. Did anyone see how much Leslie blinks as opposed to Jodi? I tried going as long as Jodi does without blinking and thought my eyes would bleed.

Same here, I keep thinking it is buffering. I stare off in deep thought, but I can't stare someone down without blinking. The only time she really "comes to" and blinks like a normal person is when she thinks the camera is off of her and the counselors have approached the bench.

i am not sure if i do stare with blinking or not at someone when they are talking. i've never paid attention BUT i do stare you down without blinking when i am PISSED. That I know for sure haha

Martinez left the jury with Jodi's ninjas story, and completely ignored Jodi's confession.
He's forced the defense has to start out by having Jodi confess, and I think the effect that has on some of the jurors will be like this:

Yeah he had several witnesses left to call, that's why it's odd to me. Based on what I just saw this witness for the prosecution did more harm for them than good, imo. Not a very good way to end their case.

I think the reason she was called was for that last little bit of showmanship the state put on. Leslie kept saying Jodi was a wonderful person. Then the state starts popping those naked pictures down and the murder pictures. I think the state wanted those pictures to be the last thing in the juror's mind when they went home.

Yeah, that's what has me confused, too. Jennifer Willmott clearly told the jury that "Jodi killed Travis, there's no question about that", so really, what the hell is going on in the jury's mind? I wonder also what kind of play the defense will make off of these questions from the jury. No doubt they will use it to their advantage if there's a feasible way.

My theory..the def is terrible. I'm not even an attorney, but I could ask better questions than they do. For one thing, I would have fought to have the floormats and Kool-aid testmony NOT be allowed in court. I never heard that the koolaid was tested by an expert and was found to be blood. Anybody could have thrown those mats out. I didn't see where the car rental company charged Jodi extra for the damage and missing floormats. I never heard one way or the other if that car was rented right after Jodi turned it in. Why did the def. not fight to get that stuff thrown out of court? Why did they not hammer the Budget guy on that information?

IMO, I think the jury is probably fusterated with the questions the def. is NOT asking. If I was on the jury, I would want to know if she had help. I would want to know more about Travis' room mates and what the police did or did not test. I would also be curious if Jodi had a relationship with one of the room mates. I'm nosey, so I can see myself asking all the same questions they did.

I just thought the state was fixing to drop the bomb...like come out and say that they tested the kool-aid and it was Travis' blood. Something. It was like a huge cliffhanger that didn't amount to much. Now I am more surprised the Def. didn't jump on the state for bringing that up. Leads me to believe they may be sandbagging this case and they really suck as attorneys.
