I think the jury might think she's still lying. Now lying saying that she did it. thats the only thing I can think of.

That's how I feel. It just stresses me out because they are talking about how incompetent the jury is and then I'm like, OH GOD THEY ARE, SHE'S TOTALLY GOING TO GET AWAY WITH THIS.

One of you guys in Arizona need to take one for the team and get arrested so you can hang out with Jodi.

I've been thinking the same thing, maybe like "poor girl. she's been interrogated to the point she just says whatever to try to appease the detective." If that's the case, we're in trouble. She'll walk.

Little bit of relief: atty on HLN just said maybe the reason those questions by the jurors were asked was because one or two jurors weren't listening to the evidence (They must be Ron's) and so the rest of those jurors asked those questions to put minds to ease. I hope that's what's going on.

I know there is one old ass dude on the jury and I'm hoping maybe it's just him asking questions and not knowing wtf is going on.

But it only takes one...I don't know. I had faith that this was an open and shut case. If she doesn't get Murder 1, she will end up still being in jail for life, right? I think life in jail is worse. Especially if she's in "tent city." They need to Green Mile her ass by doing it the old fashioned way if they give her the death penalty.

Edit: lol, SHE WOULD TEXT AND DRIVE. GUILTY.

all she is being charged w/ is murder 1 - felony murder is still murder 1 = its murder 1 committed during the commission of a crime - and idk if felony murder does really fit the crime and if the defense has a chance w/ that arguement for dismissal

ugh the people that think like that are probably the ones on the jury

It's odd to me that it keeps being mentioned in articles and on t.v. that Jodi's nearly all male jury is going to hurt her, since the victim is a male. I disagree. If anything, this is an advantage to her. This will probably piss some chicks off around here, but lets be real. A lot of women are haters and catty, and especially toward other women. And especially toward other women who are pretty. Men are more likely to listen to the facts of the case without clouding it with some dramatic reason why she must be guilty since she's a pretty little dirty girl slut.

I would hope they could prove it's cruel and unusual punishment in regards to how she killed him. But then they have that stupid, "He was shot in the head first" argument and go against everything the medical examiner says. I do agree that the CSI effect is bad. I could see the jury thinking they could figure it out themselves.

That's true. And also, a lot of times, people only hear what they want to hear. Maybe Travis heard Jodi saying that their friends with benefits relationship was fine with her. Maybe Jodi heard Travis saying that he cared about her and she wanted to believe that there could be more to the relationship.

I met a guy on the internet a few years back. We chatted a lot and had a lot in common. He wanted to meet in person, and I agreed to it. Before we met though, I asked him how he'd feel if it turned out that I only wanted to be friends (I have met guys on the internet before, and 99% of the time, it doesn't work out). He was all, oh that would be fine, I like you as a friend, and blah blah blah. We met, I felt no chemistry. I had to be honest with him as I didn't want to string him along. GOOD GOD was he butthurt. He was all, I can't believe you thought I'd be OK with just being friends, despite the fact that that's what he told me. When I brought that up, he made it sound like I was a bitch - for believing him. We never spoke again (bullet dodged!).

In short, people believe what they want to believe.

I was just reading comments under an article about the case, there were a few people arguing that the roommates were shady because they didn't smell decomp for 5 days and it would be impossible NOT to. I wonder if that's what the jury was thinking.

Also, I found an interesting Statement Analysis on Jodi.

Obviously she was lying, but Peter has several good points.

They were, actually, for 5 months. In 2006 I believe.
