Wouldn't they have to use the staircase right outside Travis' door though? You'd think then they might smell something

Yeah but when the girl Travis was going to take to Cancun was testifying she said they noticed a smell immediately upon entering the home, and thought maybe the dog had had an accident. Just seems like if you were there you'd investigate what the source of the smell was.

I thought someone had said he had taken him to his Grandmother's house. I hope so. He was an adorable little puggy.
