I'm not sure how that will work on this case. I'm unfamiliar with their statutes. I certainly hope they have other options because I don't see her being convicted on felony murder. Too much has been left to question and the investigators have dropped the ball. Plus, the little incident with the lead detective.

I have not been very impressed with any of the council.

I want to see Jodi go down as much as you do, but if you're being honest with yourself I don't see how you're not seeing all the inconsistencies on both sides. It's a big damn mess. The jury isn't going to know which way to look by the time this is over.

I don't believe it's a slam dunk at all. No such thing exists.

It seems to me that she stabbed him in the chest while he was in or getting out of the shower (after the picture). He probably fled down the hallway toward the bedroom, possibly crawling on his hands and knees. It would be the perfect position for her to stab in in the back, neck, and head several times. By the time he reached the edge of the carpet he was weakened from all the stab wounds, giving her the chance to cut his throat. You can't tell from the carpet picture because the blood would have soaked in, but the diagram shows a very large pool of blood there. Then she dragged him back, shot him for good measure and stuffed him in the shower.
Or she possibly stabbed him at the sink after the shower picture... that chest wound could account for the blood splatter in the sink (coughing pattern). He ran down the call, she stabs him repeatedly. He stops at the carpet, she slits his throat. Drags him back to the shower and shoots him for good measure.
If she did shoot him in the shower as the final crazy blow, all the blood would be washed down the drain. It looks like his throat was already slashed in the "foot" picture. Looks like a large pool of blood to me.

The Huffington Post has the crime scene pictures of his body and face. Very sad. Jodi is lucky I am not on the jury.

Just come out and say that you want to see if the carpet matched the drapes - or to see if she had just a landing strip or had the whole runway mowed.

We might never know the real sequence of events because the blood expert did not really go into those details. Most assume TA was stabbed either in or getting out of the shower. From there it's speculation but he must have ended up at the sink where he bled and coughed or snorted blood by the pattern there. JA probably stabbed him in the back repeatedly here and he may have turned around to defend himself and this is where the defensive wounds were inflicted. From the sink he either crawled or walked down the hallway towards his bedroom. He collapsed at the threshold to the hallway and t
Here is where JA must have slit his throat. He could never have stood at the sink after she slit the throat. She probably got a bed sheet and used it to drag Travis back to the bathroom. He ended up with his head/upper torso adjacent to the linen closet door when it stayed for a moment (blood loss by door). She may have shot him in this location before stuffing his body in the shower. Unbelievable madness.

I thought her testimony was very interesting. No, she's not going to say "he was dragged down this side", but she did note there were places on the baseboard where something bloody had been dragged. She was giving evidence, not making inferences.

I for one was hoping she would speculate but like you said she only testified to the evidence as she saw it. So that leave us to speculate I guess.

On another subject - I've only seen one post I think on the characteristics of the knife. Was it a long (6") thin bladed knife like a fish filet knife with a curving blade?

This is what I think happened. I think he may have been stumbling against the hallway walls as well leaving those large smudge patterns of blood. At some point Jodi had her hand on that wall as well, since that is where they lifted her DNA on top of his. I'm not sure if they found "a hair" or perhaps more that indicate he might have tried fighting by grabbing on to her hair and pulling it at the root. I know they mentioned her hair was easy to identify for that reason...

I think we will probably hear what the prosecution thinks happened in closing arguments (I hope so anyway). As far as the knife is concerned, they never found it, or the gun, and I don't recall anyone speculating about what kind of knife it was. I would also like to know that.

I think he was blitz attacked after he got out of the shower, closer to the sink, where at some point he was bent over the sink. Then tried to get away from her down the hall, where she stabbed him in the back. He collapsed at the end of the hall, where she cut his throat.

I guess because of where the bullet casing was found, she shot him in the bathroom. I'm not sure why she dragged him back into the bathroom, shot him and put him in the shower. It ha been suggested that she shot him to stage the scene and try to make it look like a home invasion. Maybe she thought she could clean up the mess and then shortly gave up on that idea.

That last post, the quotes came out funky, sorry about that. I'd fix it, but I can't edit.

Food for thought: when cartridges are expelled from fire arms, they don't just 'drop' they trend to go up and out, so he could have been shot from almost anywhere in that bathroom. The cartridge placement does not say that that is where he was shot.

Does anyone have a map of the bathroom and where the cartridge was found?

I'm thinking from the placement, she stood behind him from the right and shot him in the forehead, which passed through his brain to the left side of his face where it was found around the sinus cavity. So in regards to placement, I think she had her back facing toward the bedroom hallway and it was a last ditch effort to try to make it look like an invasion. I don't know if I'm explaining it right. But his body was laying in the supine position with the back his head being closest toward the hallway. Then she dragged him over to the shower.

This bitch was personal by using a knife. If she wanted him dead, she could have just shot him, but instead she was using his body as a knife sharpener. That's some coldblooded fucking malice.
