He's harsh on his own witnesses. I imagine he's going to be just that much more brutal on Jodi's.

That's what I meant by biting the hands that feed him. I really hope he doesn't turn the jury against him.

I think he's passionate and fighting for the victims. He seems to get pissed at the defense and their pathetic attempts to find some kind of way to spare Jodi the death penalty. He is fighting for Travis. I respect him so much for that.

I agree. I really think he doesn't want to yell at the witnesses but he would rather straight up yell at the defense and can't. He's a damn good lawyer and I'd want him on my side, those other two are straight up clowns. I can't WAIT to see who they bring in. It's going to be her family trying to prove her character and that's it.

Here he is at the mistrial hearing that the defense totally failed at, which I think was their one approach. He's speaking to the judge versus a witness, so he doesn't come across as harsh.

    Kristinella,
The Alexanders were family friends of GG and her family. If you look back in this thread for messages a few years ago, you'll find her posts. I'm not even close to being the LDS temple-worthy sort, and GG is now inactive. She remembers Travis from when he was younger, growing up in the same ward of the LDS church. My BIL, MIL, GMIL were close to Travis because they are very Mormon and very into Prepaid Legal. But my connection with him is indirect. This doesn't mean I don't care; Jodi's lies enrage me, but he wasn't a personal friend of mine.

I really don't think this prosecutor is biting any hands that feed him. He is direct and to the point upon initial questioning. When defense takes their turn and is grasping at any and everything and asking the same damn question 30 ways, I'm sure it pisses off the prosecutor AND the witnesses, so he comes back firing on all pistons. He is animated to begin with. The ME looked like he was stifling back smirks when the prosecution was called to redirect. The crime scene analyst (Heather something) comes off as a bitch to me. I think the prosecution is just tired, irritated, annoyed, etc like many of us are and just wants to get to the point and shoot down (rapidly) any bullshit the defense tries to lay down.

Thanks for answering! I noticed the connection to Mormonism and Prepaid Legal is strong. The more I see of this trial and see how brutal Jodi's attack was and how she is just making a mockery of everyone involved and attempting to discredit a dead man who can't defend himself with her lies, it is enraging.

There is nor court on Friday. I'm not sure why. I also don't know why they did not reconvene last Monday, but they will this Monday.

Also, I've read through the pages and didn't see this mentioned (I could be wrong though), but on The State vs Jodi Arias ~ Travis Alexander 's facebook page, they're stating that the "Travis Alexander's" shirt that the defense showed a picture of Jodi wearing during opening statements to try to make him look possessive over her was actually a shirt of HIS that had the words "Being Better Blog" on the back and she was just wearing HIS shirt. Just chalk it up as Jodi lie #1,234,654.

They gotta do whatever they can, it's their job. They are probably thinking more about an appeal after she is convicted, rather than that they might be successful in getting a mistrial. They're putting their objection on record.

I saw that too. I would imagine if this is true, one of his friends would have seen it and would be able to testify to it?

I just around about that, and apparently, judges set their own hours. The days where the trial is not taking place, the judge may not be in court, but usually has other work to do.

I saw something about this too. A friend of Travis posted a picture of a similar looking t-shirt that belonged to him

When they embalmed her it made her swell up to where you couldn't tell where her chin stopped and her boobs started. They can't make it look like someone didn't totally destroy your body when they killed you.

I just feel so bad for his family.
I am so sorry that she died in such a horrible manner...loves going out to you!

Too many people are coming out of the woodwork to say how awesome he was and how much he changed their lives..and I don't believe that it was just because of prepaid legal. I have watched videos of him and he is charismatic, funny, kind, and sincere. You don't gain all the people who remember and fight for his memory like his friends if there wasn't something "special" about him.

He was a normal late 20's male.. always thinking with the other head. He did to Jodi what another guy would do to another girl, only Jodi was bat-shit crazy. He wasn't afraid of her because he didn't think she would hurt him. Why should he? He was bigger than her. Difference is she had a knife and a gun and somehow got the best of him.

He didn't deserve to die. He didn't deserve to have the defense portray him as a psycho sexual deviant because he liked to role play and liked anal and oral sex. (What almost 30ish guy wouldn't love for their significant other to be open to those three things alone) He doesn't deserve to have his memory dragged through the mud. Nor his autopsy pictures splashed all over the internet. He was a human being who had people who loved him because of who he was.. and how he made them feel.

My hope is that his family and friends can get through this trial, that Jodi will be found guilty and sentenced to death and that his memory is that of the person they remember.. not the person the defense or the media are making him out to be.
It's a trial. That's what defense does. Fortunately, it probably will backfire on them.

Yea, he was way bigger than I thought. I wondered when the ME said heavyset. He usually posted face pics and his face really doesn't show it. He was very attractive and wore it well.

Hopefully someone will testify. That'd be awesome and make her look even worse if possible.

So in other countries you guys always go off "military time"? There is no such thing as AM or PM? That should happen here. We don't use AM PM in schools or medicine as it is. We need to switch to metric too. Wish we weren't so backwards.
