For some reason that would make it less cruel. I don't know why. The Judge was like, it doesn't matter what the sequence was, it was especially cruel and wasn't just self defense. He suffered physically and mentally and she still deserves the death penalty.

It's all about how cruel it was and how much he suffered prior to dying.

Basically the TL;DR: The Defense has nothing so they went after the poor Detective.
Which has like nothing to do with the fact that the bitch is guilty, she has confessed after lying her ass off. This broad killed Travis in overkill. This whole trial should be more of due process, instead it's about morals. If morals were really that important to this case, she failed to have them, once again case closed.

I feel terribly for Travis' family.

Yeah, I think they're grasping. If I was sitting on the jury, considering the death, as a whole, that Travis suffered would compel me to choose nothing less than guilty with a recommendation of death. And besides, regardless of the mix up, the picture of the casing on TOP of the blood would be enough to tell me he was stabbed/cut before he was shot. If I was Jodi, I'd be pissed at my lawyers. They seem clueless sometimes. The lady lawyer sometimes seems at a loss for words.

I do too. Mostly because Jodi asked for a trial because she thinks that "no jury will convict me" which drags this whole thing out and makes it just that much harder for them having to sit there and watch her fake blubbering and see graphic photos of their brother. From reading what he said about his early life, they had it bad and it seemed like all they had was each other. I really feel like he probably took care of his sisters while his parents were out doing drugs, to which they went with his grandmother and his parents eventually died.

It should be pretty open and shut, but nope. Stupid wanted to go to trial. Isn't the Criminal Justice system great?

On the drug issue, I've been meaning to ask if Travis' sister is an ex drug user? She has that 'look', so I was curious.

There should be no question that Jodi is absolutely guilty and there was probable cause and malice. Not the poor girl who shot her abusive boyfriend and then freaked out and ran away. But you never know. I.E.: OJ and Casey Anthony

I think they told the lady lawyer that it's probably best for her just to sit there and shut up.

So is the jury sequestered? I would assume this would be considered fairly high profiled since it's on television and all over the internet.

I kind of think that the reason Jodi wanted a trial too was so she could see the pictures and peoples reaction to them.

I assumed so, since they haven't shown them (that I've seen) on any of the feeds.

Tanisha or whatever her name is? The one with the husband? She has that look to her for sure.

I was told that she used to be a heavy meth user.

I agree. Complete Borderline Personality head case. Doesn't matter if it's even negative attention, it's still attention and she loves it.

i wonder why the male defense atty seems to be running point when he is a public defender and the lady is suppose to be the expert in defending death penalty cases that the judge assigned - and i also wonder if he is color blind by the way he dresses in court?

Yeah, that one. I think she probably is. That look is kind of unique.

I would be the worst jury member and be on here and all over the place looking up what other people think and watching it on tv. I would not give her anything less than the death penalty.

Ah, ok. I was actually thinking she looked like someone you would see from "the faces of meth". Terrible.

I've become sadly familiar with that look after being in central Indiana long enough

Oh hell yeah. I would be just waiting to cast my vote. Ready to smack some heads if someone tries to be stupid and get all devils advocate.

LOL, the judge tries to put the fear of God in you. "If you google stalk this case, I will FIND you." "If you have a beer with dinner, I will FIND you."

We couldn't get service in a certain mile-radius around the courthouse either, including the place we were sequestered.

Maybe that's why I've never been called for jury duty.

Jane Valez whatever just had a "SPECIAL APPEARANCE TOMORROW" and kept showing pictures of Travis. What I wouldn't give if they rose him from the grave Beetlejuice style and he went on looking all horror show and told exactly what went down.

I don't know if the want her to take the stand no matter how much she wants to. That will just completely bury her.

But I really hope they do.

Between that and the "are you familiar with how light switches work", we are going to have a ton of one liners after this trial!

LOL, makes no sense that they would have called me! If I'd known about this forum back then...

Come to think of it if i can remember homeboy's last name, I'm going to see if his case is on here.

At first I thought you meant Jodi. I was thinking to myself, "What's she gonna do, pull out a special, 'No jury will convict me, mark my words.' outfit?"
