If we are looking at the same thing, it looks more like an indentation to me. Where his skin pitted from lying against the shower wall. Maybe a little ledge, like the corner where the built in soap dish is.

Travis had a lot (14 I think) of stab wounds on his upper/mid-back. You can see several of them in that photo.

I think the way the ME has him arranged in that photo, you are seeing him kind of pushed down into his other shoulder, which is why he seems to have a lump down there. It's his other shoulder blade pushed up I think.

i don't get how their's blood water on the boxes in the closet but yet blood drops that i would think had fallen afterwards. were the drops left jodi's blood from the cuts on her hands?

I don't have a stand up shower like that so I'm not sure how they work. But maybe she flooded the bathroom after she put his body in there. Like maybe his butt formed a suction cup over the drain.

This is what confuses me. Some of the blood drops appear to be on top of diluted blood. Doesn't that imply that water was thrown on the blood and then someone bled more on top of what had been washed?
