My door is unlocked most of the time at night. Denny leaves for work and never locks it and I'm usually in bed and don't bother to get up and lock it. The broken cell phone laying around could just be because they hadn't figured out what to do with it, or it was going to be taken somewhere for proper disposal or the family is into clutter. I don't see either of those things being so weird.

Now let's talk about her banging her brother.

    Has this been posted?

The things that arent adding up with the parents story:
    * The Irwins have a black lab as a pet who was on the porch on the night Lisa was reported missing. Bradley denied the dog barked that night. But she acknowledged in an interview the dog would have barked if there had been noise, if something out of the ordinary had happened or if there was someone she didn't know present. With dogs tending to be protective, the absence of barking casts doubt on the claim a stranger broke into the Irwin home.

    * The last time Bradley saw Lisa was when she put her to bed at 10:30 p.m., she says. "I just changed her, you know, put fresh clothes on her, and get her ready for bed." Yet the baby disappeared while wearing purple shorts and a purple top with white kittens on it. Why would Bradley have changed a baby who was going to bed for the night into shorts and a shirt rather than pajamas?

    * In another interview, Bradley said
Lisa went to bed first and the boys later; the boys are 6 and 8 and it was a school night. Yet the boys went to bed subsequent to 10:30 p.m.?

    * Police asked the Irwins to make a list of anyone who could have been responsible for Lisa's disappearance. When asked in an interview by Judge Jeanine Pirro, "How did you pick these names," Jeremy Irwin answered, "Anybody. People who have been in the house. People that have had miscarriages lately.
People who got divorces, cheating on their husb- (he stopped himself; his wife shook her head "no"). Irwin's mention of people getting divorces and cheating on their husbands has no logical nexus with a baby kidnapping and raises eyebrows.

    * Lisa Irwin went to bed with a cold and cough. Bradley claims to have slept in her own room with another child and a stray cat in her bed, her bedroom door shut. This is an unusual choice for a mother with a sick baby. In an interview Sunday, Bradley says she had a
baby monitor operating that night. Yet she, like the dog, heard nothing when a stranger allegedly entered her baby's bedroom and removed her baby.

    * Irwin and Bradley suggested a window in an adjacent room as a point of entry, saying the screen had been tampered with. A police re-enactment showed the window to be an unlikely -- almost impossible -- point of quiet entry. It's hard to access and the screen was not fully removed, tying the intruder theory to the improbable scenario that a kidnapper took time to put the screen back in the window after entering the house. Who tampered with the screen and why?

    * The couple claims an intruder took their three cellphones at the same time as taking the baby,
delaying their call to 911. Yet they admitted to Judge Jeanine that Jeremy had a functioning work phone he ultimately used to call 911.

    http://news.yahoo.com/missing-baby-l...XBhZ2U-;_ylv=3

The only part that really gets me is that the intruder "taking their cell phones" is what delayed their call to 911, but he had a phone on him that was working fine. Doesnt seem right

Nancy Grace is far too busy dodging PR bullets on Dancing With the Stars. The woman should be focusing her efforts on: A) avoiding nip slips on TV, and B) not farting during the judges' commentary. She's going to have a lot of catching up to do.

I defy anyone under intense scrutiny to not have weird actions that 'look suspicious' when broken down enough.

My twins often slept in summer in shorts and a shirt. If I was changing them after a leakage incident I'd be damned if I was going to change them in pj's at that time of night when their pjs were also shorts and a shirt. I'd grab whatever was closer.

Absolutely. We all do things every day that could be considered suspicious in certain circumstances. That's how innocent people end up in prison.

Mystery benefactor brings in celebrity investigator to help find missing baby Lisa

A celebrity private investigator hired by a mysterious wealthy benefactor has joined the search for a missing US baby girl, as her family says her mother is preparing to be charged by police over her disappearance.

Lisa Irwin, who is 10 months old, has not been seen since she went missing from her parents' home in Kansas City last Tuesday.

Police have repeatedly searched the woods, landfills, dumpsters, sewers and even a well near the Missouri home, but have drawn a blank in a case increasingly compared by the US media to the disappearance of toddler Caylee Anthony in 2008.

Caylee's mother, Casey, was acquitted of murdering her in July after a lengthy trial that transfixed the US.

Now Bill Stanton, a private investigator and former New York City police officer known as "Wild Bill", who has reportedly hung out with action stars Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone, said he would act as the family's consultant.

"I'm here to seek the truth," The Kansas City Star newspaper reported Mr Stanton as saying this week.

"And wherever the truth leads, that's where I'm going to go."

He would not say who was paying his fees, only telling the media "the person cares about the child, and that's the main focus of all of this"," FOX 4KC television reported.

His comments came as Lisa's aunt Ashley Irwin said it was "inevitable" the baby's mother, Deborah Bradley, would be charged over her disappearance.

"It's what the police do. They don't have any leads, so they just have to pin it on somebody," Ms Irwin told US television network ABC.

But Ms Irwin said she was confident both her sister-in-law and her brother, Lisa's father Jeremy Irwin, had nothing to do with her niece's disappearance.

"Anybody who spends any time with them, you know it's not true. She's genuine. She loves that child. It's her baby. … She would never do anything to hurt her," she told ABC News.

"She doesn't care what happens to her, she doesn't care what people say about her, she doesn't care what people think about her. All she cares about is getting Lisa home."

Kansas City police spokesman Captain Steve Young said it was "absolutely not true" investigators held Ms Bradley responsible for the disappearance of Lisa, saying: "We don't feel any pressure to accuse anybody. We are under pressure to do what we can to find a child."

On Wednesday, investigators used all-terrain vehicles and tracking dogs to search a heavily wooded area near Lisa's home, but turned up nothing.

Captain Young said more than 40 detectives - along with the FBI and other police departments - were working the case.

    Who is 'Wild Bill'?

He added Mr Stanton would not be given access to Lisa's case files as he was not a member of law enforcement.

"He will have access to anything the general public has access to," Captain Young told The Associated Press.

Mr Stanton, who has worked as a security consultant for US television networks, has been featured on the cover of New York Magazine in a 2001 article titled The Not So Private Eye.

He said he previously worked as a bouncer and bodyguard.

Ernie Allen, president of the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, said his organisation did not work with private investigators and had not heard of Mr Stanton.

"Families in these situations are desperate and feel the need to do anything they can possibly do," Mr Allen told AP. "I hope he helps them."

Jimmie Mesis, editor-in-chief of New Jersey-based trade magazine for private investigators PI Magazine, said he had heard of Mr Stanton.

He said Mr Stanton's involvement could be troublesome if he interferes with witnesses, but he could also keep a national spotlight on the case.

"With Bill, one benefit, because he has celebrity status as a private investigator, the media is going to be interested in seeing what he's doing," Mr Mesis told AP.

"He's putting his reputation on the line, too."

It seems like any missing child investigation turns into that if you think about it. Kyron Horman, The Duckett kid, that other little girl in Florida, Caylee Anthony. I don't know about the ones that aren't in the news, but if they are high profile everyone wants into the spotlight it seems.

I saw breaking news on some lady judge show that they found feshly soiled diapers and a set of man's clothes in a bag close to the house of missing Lisa. Mmmm I was half asleep. Let me see if I can find something to link.

A handyman is being questioned in connection with the disappearance of baby Lisa.
Johnny Tanko was seen in the neighbourhood the night ten-month-old Lisa Irwin was reported missing from her crib at her parents' Kansas City home.
The odd job man, known locally as 'Jersey' was arrested on unrelated charges and is now being questioned as to Baby Lisa's whereabouts, NBC station KSNW reported. He is not a suspect in the case.

A backpack containing used diapers and baby wipes were found in a vacant home near where baby Lisa went missing from. Soiled diapers were also found in a wooded area close to the house.

I think the parents have something to do with this. Mom seems a bit off. Plus now saying she was drunk that night.

Where did it say she said she was drunk? I know the video from the store showed her buying wine, but I didn't read anything about her admitting she was drunk...? Am I missing something??

Mother: I was drunk when Missouri infant disappeared

The mother of Lisa Irwin, an 11-month old Missouri girl missing for nearly two weeks, said in an interview she was drunk the night the infant disappeared.

Deborah Bradley made the admission during an NBC interview, portions of which were aired Monday on "Today."
She also said she last saw Lisa at 6:40 p.m. October 3, when she put the girl to bed, not at 10:30 p.m., as initially believed.

Lisa was reported missing at 4 a.m. October 4, after Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, came home from work to find the door unlocked, lights on and a window that had been tampered with at the family's Kansas City home.

Bradley told NBC she is afraid she will be arrested. Police have accused her of killing Lisa, she said, and told her that she failed a lie detector test, with deception indicated when she was asked where Lisa was.

"I was the last one with her," a tearful Bradley said in the interview. "And from judging on how the questioning went, that's kind of a fear that I have. And the main fear with that is, if they arrest me, people are going to stop looking for her. And then I'll never see her again, and I'll never know what happened."

Asked how much she had been drinking that night, Bradley said, "enough to be drunk."

But she rejected the notion that she could have harmed her daughter while under the influence of alcohol.

"No, no, no," she told NBC. "And if I thought there was a chance, I'd say it. No. No. I don't think alcohol changes a person enough to do something like that."

She said it's "terrible" that police may be focusing on her. "My daughter is missing," she said. "The last thing that I want to have to worry about is something like that. I shouldn't have to put any energy, any time or effort, into anything but finding her."

Asked whether he had questions about Bradley, Irwin told NBC, "No. There's no question to be had there. I know who she is. I know the kind of mother she is."

He said it's possible someone could have entered the house without Bradley hearing, as the couple's bedroom is on the opposite corner of the house from Lisa's room and Bradley sleeps with a fan at high speed.

Police have said three cell phones were also missing from the home along with Lisa.

On Sunday, Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon ordered the one-day deployment of 25 National Guardsmen to help search for Lisa.
Two anonymous benefactors have offered a $100,000 reward for Lisa's safe return, according to Bill Stanton, a private investigator working with the family.
Irwin and Bradley told NBC they have refused to let authorities re-interview Lisa's older brothers.

"They said they heard noises (the night Lisa disappeared)," Bradley said. "I don't know if that was before we went to sleep or after." She said she has not talked to her sons about it because she is reluctant to put them through "anything else."

Asked what she would say to someone who might be holding Lisa, Bradley told NBC, "She needs her family, and we need her. We're losing more sanity as each day progresses."

Lisa is described as being 30 inches tall with blue eyes and blond hair, according to police. She weighs between 26 and 30 pounds and was last seen wearing purple shorts and a purple shirt with white kittens on it.

The missing girl has two bottom teeth and a "beauty mark" on her right outer thigh, police said. At the time of her disappearance, she had a cold with a cough.

If she was drunk, maybe she just forgot where she "parked" the baby.

Could happen... I lost my cell phone for several days once when I came home late and tired and put my "doggy bag" and phone in the fridge.
