Went back today and got some very good pictures. I am going to post a new slideshow tonight. the majority of the fingerprint dust is in the master bed, bathroom, closet and the laundry room and downstairs bathroom which is next to the laundry room. Some on the front door too. none in any of the 4 other bedrooms or the upstairs bathroom. Wierd how the roomies had to pass by his door every time they went up or down the stairs. didnt anyone smell anything? So sad. I really feel for Travis. Didn't know that was his day to die.

Well, that's not the typical response is all I'm saying. All my years of doing that have made me very wary of hearing the word come up. Not that I'm defensive about it, just prepared for the same old jokes. I was just saying that I was happy that you guys didn't zero in on it in a negative way.
Nonetheless, it sucks that whatever the situation with the murderer, no one will really be held accountable for taking this man's life. It's usually somewhat therapeutic for the family and friends to see some justice done, and that will be impossible here.

I am in complete shock as to how anyone, even a bank, can expect to sell a house in this condition, being clearly the scene of a very very bad crime, with the biologial and scientific residue all over the place.
Maybe AZ has laws that require the seller to disclose certain crimes that took place at the residence, but if now, anyone hoping to sell this for anything even remotely close to market value (even in this economy) would be a fool to not spend a couple of thousand dollars fixing holes, carpet and repainting the walls after a little cleanup. I'm sure it would be a little more expensive than just hiring a crew off the streets that you would for any other "normal" house, but the condition it is in is going to be a dealkiller for the vast majority of people who are able to afford it.

And yeah- I kinda can't believe they would try selling the house in that condition either. I mean really. Even if they didn't bother to patch the hole in the wall, they could at least get the blood remnants, luminol, and fingerprint dust cleaned up. It's so pathetic it's almost funny that they thought that little air freshener on the kitchen counter would just fix everything. Like...no, nothing tragic ever happened here, can't you smell the cozy apple cinnamon?
