BWS it's around 45 to 50 degrees at night and gets to about 65 degrees during the day right now. It's definitely cool enough out for a jacket this time of year, but it varies. Sometimes we get an Indian Summer where it gets back up in to the 80s with humidity.

Rule of thumb in Ireland when travelling to here is to bring rain gear and dress in layers. It could be really cold in the morning, but you could end up sweating your tits off by the afternoon and then back to rain and wind an hour later. Good, sturdy shoes for walking and hiking. Don't bother with an umbrella, the wind will destroy it
Our family has told us over and over about the importance of layering. I am not a layering type, so I will need to figure out how to best do it without looking like a mummy.
