Sixty-five-year-old Starla Goings has been missing since Friday, August 15th.

According to the Sheriff Todd Brock, Starla was reportedly last seen leaving her Sixteenmile Lake home late Friday night after attending the UP State Fair in Escanaba earlier in the day.

All the while, Stephanie's adult children have persevered in their search for answers.

"At first we were trying to keep the rumors at bay, because we didn't want things to spiral out of control," said Starla's daughter Steffanie Goings.
"We have continuous glucose monitor readings tied to [Starla's] phone, which is tied to us having her location," said Steffanie.

The device used to manage Starla's diabetes was connected to her phone via Bluetooth.

Steffanie said there are documented glucose readings from Starla's device that place her at the house until about midnight, which is when her husband told police she had driven away from home.

After midnight, there are no more logged glucose readings.
