Holy shit! That's amazing! I have always loved Steve Martin. Vince Gill is a take it or leave it kind of guy. His early solo stuff was likable. It STILL amazes me that he was the lead singer of Pure Prairie League.

And now Joan Jett is among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees for 2012.
Women feature prominently among the first-time nominees, reports AP, and include Joan Jett and the
Blackhearts, and Heart. Previous nominees up again include The Beastie Boys, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Donna Summer, Laura Nyro, Donovan and War.

An act must have released its first single or album 25 years ago to qualify for induction. More than 500 voters will determine who makes the hall. New members will be inducted at a ceremony at the hall of fame in Cleveland on April 14. Individual tickets for the Induction Ceremony will go on sale to the public in December 2011.
