I came across a story that I have never heard of, and it's so strange. I posted a new thread so we can post all the strange mysteries (wasn't sure if something similar existed).

I'd never heard of it either. Very interesting.

Here's another case that I have followed forever ~ the disappearances of Rachel Trlica (17), Lisa Wilson (14), and Julie Moseley (9) from Fort Worth on December 23, 1974.

Another one that was always perplexing is the Martin family of five who went missing in Oregon in 1958. A couple of months after they went missing, two of the children were found dead; the father, Kenneth (54), mother, Barbara (48), and their other daughter, Barbara (14), were never found.

This is yet another one that bothers me to no end. Mark Degner (12) and his friend Bryan Hayes (13) went missing from Jacksonville, Florida on 2/10/2005. Both were special education students who left school after getting into an argument with a teacher; they have never been seen again.

Okay, last one for today. Can you tell that mysterious missing persons cases are my jam?
Paul Skiba (38) went missing along with his daughter, Sarah (9), as well as his employee, Lorenzo Chivers (36), on 2/7/1999 in Colorado.

oh man, that is hinky.
"The investigation changed direction almost three weeks later, when the Tuff Movers vehicle, a white 1978 Chevrolet moving truck with red crescents painted on both sides, was located shortly after Russell contacted authorities. A photo of the truck is posted with this case summary. Investigators discovered the vehicle had been abandoned in the Westminster parking lot used by Paul's company. It wasn't parked the way he normally positioned it.
The truck had been pierced by two bullets and was smeared with blood, a piece of human scalp with hair attached was inside, there was additional hair on the truck's fender, and shell casings and blood were found in the lot as well. There was no sign of Sarah, Paul or Chivers at the scene. Chivers's car was found parked in the lot, but Paul's vehicle was located in Denver, Colorado."

Here's a case that has always interested me, the Sodder children disappearance. Siblings Maurice (14), Martha (12), Louis (10), Jennie (8), and Betty (5) disappeared on 12/24/1945 after their house was destroyed in a fire.

Another interesting missing case. Bobby Dunbar (4) disappeared on August 23, 1912 while on a fishing trip with his parents and younger brother in Louisiana. In April 1913, the police arrested a man and charged him with Bobby's kidnapping. A child who looked like Bobby was found with the man. Even though a woman came forward and insisted the little boy was her son, Bobby's parents saw a resemblance and became convinced he was their Bobby. Therefore, the child found, the new "Bobby", was given to the Dunbars after a long court battle.
The new "Bobby" lived his life and through DNA profiling in 2004, it was established that he was not Bobby Dunbar.
