Florida tree trimmer falls into a wood chipper

    https://nypost.com/2025/01/28/us-new...-at-town-hall/

"A man in Florida died after he got caught in a wood chipper while trimming trees at a town hall in the Miami metropolitan area early Tuesday morning.

The man was an employee with an arborist service called to prune trees at the Ocean Ridge Town Hall, according to the Town of Ocean Ridge Facebook.

While working, he somehow got caught in the wood chipper. He was pulled in head-first up to his shoulders and decapitated, officials told CBS News 12.

His coworkers scrambled to switch the emergency shut-off, but by then it was too late.

By the time police arrived on the scene, the man had already succumbed to his extensive injuries.

Wow ~ how sad. I can only imagine how the coworkers and any witnesses feel seeing that happen.

    Jesus thats terrible, Im sorry.

Trimming trees is dangerous, I knew one guy that cut off his arm with a chain saw, and a second guy that used ones of those utility cars that has that bucket thing that rises up with a control. The hydraulics failed and threw him like 200 feet and to the ground. He died, arm dude lived.

Do they keep the chipper right under the tree?

I had a friend that was a tree trimmer and she was killed by a falling one. Wood chipper is brutal. At least he went head first so he likely didn't have time to even feel anything. Is Trump also defunding OSHA? I would assume so. We'll be seeing more and more of these kinds of accidents, sadly.
