26-year-old Luigi Nicholas Mangione is the shooter. And of course his fb already has thousands of comments.

Thousands of indigenous women go missing and found murdered and it's crickets. A greedy AF CEO with zero redeeming qualities gets murdered and that's when the entire country's police force all of a sudden does their fucking job.

Honestly. They DON'T WORK FOR THE PEOPLE. They work for the RICH and ONLY THE RICH. It's infuriating.

Also, the employee at McDonald's. They snitched for 10K. Billionaires being like....."Awwww! Thanks, peasant. Here's a silver piece".

There are some people posting reviews on Google for the McDonald's he was found at.

this location has rats in the kitchen that will make you sick and your insurance isn’t going to cover it.
Do not stop here if you are an American hero. They will sell you out.
More like Narc-donalds…. I hope obesity and heart disease are in-network in PA. Deny, defend, depose, diarrhea @ McDonald’s

The suspect in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson reportedly went missing and cut off contact with family and friends last month after undergoing back surgery, it has been revealed.
The Ivy League college graduate suffered from debilitating, chronic back pain and underwent major surgery for it in 2023, a friend told The New York Times.

RJ Martin – a friend of Mangione and spokesperson of Surfbreak, a co-living space in Honolulu, where Mangione lived for about six months until April 2022 – told the newspaper that Mangione had moved to Hawaii in a bid to get as healthy as possible in advance of the operation.

“His spine was kind of misaligned,” Martin said. “He said his lower vertebrae were almost like a half-inch off, and I think it pinched a nerve. Sometimes he’d be doing well and other times not.”

The injury hampered Mangione’s ability to surf and also took a toll on his romantic life, Martin said.

After taking one surf lesson, Martin recalled to CNN that Mangione ended up “in bed for about a week” with back pain.

Mangione also once sent him a photo of an X-ray of his back, which Martin said looked “looked heinous, with just giant screws going into his spine.”

It will be interesting to learn what his motive was. He came from a wealthy family and seemed to have it all.

Agreed @boston. Those unfortunate people dont get any media coverage.

They are now saying the shooter used AMOUNG US to practice assination I play with my 7 year old all of the time. They must hurt their back from reaching so hard.

I saw the picture of his xray and what looked like metal lumbar spine implant. I read he was in chronic pain. I would like to know more about that. Pain changes a person. I know the DEA is breathing down doctors necks, but their duty is to relieve pain/control pain.

Nic I dont he was going to unalive himself.

I read the manifesto, and its very intelligently written. I can relate to what he's saying. My mom has suffered with nerve pain for a long time now.

    His motive makes sense now.

Who didn't know that his motive was something like this all along? I think it was pretty damn obvious from the beginning!

I love how they can throw so much effort, manpower, money, etc at this but all of these other crimes go unsolved or not looked at...especially ones where important people committed them.

Also, just for the record, and I'm not trying to pick on anyone this is just my weird thing, I hate the term 'unalived'. We all know what suicide or murder is and I think this sounds like someone is trying to be cute, like YT people trying to get likes. It sounds stupid.

RBW - I think people use the term "unalived" because FB will put you in a time out for using suicide. I think it becomes a habit of some people.

I am just here for the hilarious memes I am seeing.

It is a force of habit, whatever. Im not the only one that says it.

I knew what the motive was, but the manifesto detailed specific incidents and put it all into perspective.

EDIT found the answer. He looks a lot younger than 26.

Yeah, my friend says it bc her granddaughter says it, and she never goes on FB. It's fucking annoying. I think she just thinks it sounds cute and makes her look young. WRONG. Ang, I never said you were the only one who said it.

I am cracking up about all the fast food memes.

He's 26 with massive health issues concerning his back. I think it was as much about himself as it was about his mother...and about others in the same shoes. Even if he has money, he's smart enough and socially aware enough to know that that's the age that kids get kicked off their parent's healthcare and it's a big deal and meant something to him.
Going forward, if they get rid of the ACA we will go back to kids getting kicked off their parents' healthcare at 18 (or 21 if they are in school full time). I think Millenials and younger don't really realize in general how it worked and how bad it was before ACA, but lots of people are going to get screwed.

My mom had neuropathy and she would just cry and cry because it hurts so badly. They tried everything but sadly dementia hit and between the neuropathy, the mental illnesses and the dementia sedation was the only go-to left for her.
I am in no way condoning the young man's actions but I understand the frustrations. I can understand how being denied further appts/meds/treatments might mentally fester until there seems to be only one response, pure anger.

Sadly the people who have the power to change things are not going to because it doesn't affect their bank accts.

It looks like he has a good attorney representing him in PA. He is fighting extradition to New York.

The defense attorney representing Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, said he has seen "no evidence" linking his client to the killing, adding that "a lot of guns look the same."

"I have not been made aware of any evidence that links the gun that was found on his person to the crime so these are things that we're looking to see," attorney Thomas Dickey told ABC News' "Good Morning America" on Wednesday.

Mangione, 26, plans to challenge his extradition from Pennsylvania to New York, where he faces a charge of second-degree murder in connection with Thompson's Dec. 4 outside a Midtown Manhattan hotel.

@RBW, the reason they use it on Youtube is that they will Demonitize any video that uses certain trigger words. They can't use words like: Suicide, Murder, Pedophile, Rape, Sexual Assault. The list goes on. Even "Covid" or "Pandemic" will get you demonitized so they have had to come up with alternative terms for them. This is probably why your friend's granddaughter uses those terms because it's not just a FB thing, it's a YouTube thing as well.

I've always known the motive was connected to being denied care in some way. I'm waking up choosing violence more and more these days because the inequality is off the charts and I'm just done being nice.

I get why people use it on social media, I don't get why people use it in real life. Typically it's old people that have picked it up and think it sounds cute and makes them seem young, but it does just the opposite. I hear it all the time and it's annoying and sounds dumb IRL, but that's just my opinion. I tihnk when people talk IRL they shouldn't sound like a 13 year old trying to be an "influencer" on social media, but enough derailing this thread.

I am kind of curious why he is fighting extradition. I would think NY would be a good place to be in this instance.

Fingerprints belonging to Luigi Mangione match those found on a water bottle recovered not far from the scene of the deadly shooting, police said.

It is the first positive forensic match tying Mangione to the scene where Thompson was gunned down outside the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel on Dec. 4.

Investigators believe they have also recovered a coffee cup the suspected gunman may have used at a Manhattan Starbucks before the shooting, a high-ranking police source said.

Do you know how many fucking water bottles were at the scene? And coffee cups?

Thats ok put all of your time and money into this case.

The cops would NEVER do this kind of work if a regular person was killed.

Also McDonald's is really butthurt about the bad reviews

    https://kpel965.com/mcdonalds-employ...uigi-mangione/

The McDonald’s worker who helped identify Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, might not get the $60,000 reward linked to the case. Even though this employee provided the important tip that led to Mangione's arrest in Altoona, Pennsylvania, there are several paperwork issues and strict rules about the reward that could make it difficult to receive the money.

The situation is more complicated because there are conflicting reports about whether the tip came from a McDonald’s employee or a customer. Since both individuals have not been identified, it is unclear who would have the right to claim the tip if Mangione is found guilty.
