https://www.axios.com/2024/12/19/lui...dheathcare-ceoFour federal charges were filed against Luigi Mangione in connection to the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Mangione was charged with murder through use of a firearm, two counts of stalking and a firearms offense, according to the federal complaint.
The complaint alleged the notebook authorities Mangione possessed "contained several handwritten pages that express hostility towards the health insurance industry and wealthy executives in particular."
An August 15 entry in the notebook says "the details are finally coming together" and that "I'm glad – in a way – that I've procrastinated," because it allowed "me to learn more about" a company name that was redacted by prosecutors.
The notebook entry also stated that "the target is insurance" because "it checks every box."
Jan 6th was not terrorism, but this shooting is. Dylan Roof was not a terrorist, but Luigi is.![]()
They are doing their best to make the regular folk sit back down and know their place. They want to make sure no one else gets any idea.
https://people.com/luigi-mangione-re...-diddy-8764447Luigi Mangione will be housed in the same Brooklyn jail as Sean "Diddy" Combs — and the two even have the same lawyer.
Mangione arrived in New York to be arraigned on federal murder charges that could land him the death penalty.
Marc Agnifilo, who is representing the hip hop mogul, appeared in federal court in Manhattan with his wife, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, on Thursday to inform Judge Katharine Parker that they will represent Mangione in his defense against the federal charges.
Ha. American Hero and American Zero.

Man charged with health insurance CEO murder to accept $300,000 in donations
The man charged with murdering UnitedHealthcare’s CEO in December plans to accept more than $300,000 that people who are sympathetic to the accused killer have raised for his legal defense.
More than 10,000 people had contributed an average of about $30 to Luigi Mangione’s defense fund when his legal team indicated it would accept the donations, according to a post on Monday on the GiveSendGo platform, which is hosting a fundraising campaign in his benefit.
Mangione “very much appreciates the outpouring of support”, said a statement on GiveSendGo that was attributed to his attorney, Karen Friedman Agnifilo.
He is from a wealthy family, so this kind of irks me. Well, unless his family is not supporting him.![]()
I meannnnnn......I get that he's from a wealthy family, but I'm not against people helping him out. His family probably isn't going to foot the whole bill and even if they were willing, I'd rather people contribute to this instead of sending money to Trump for a bible. It sends a message. That there is support for people that stand up against Oligarchs.
