Suzanne Clark Simpson (51) missing from Olmos, TX since 10/6/2024

    https://www.mysanantonio.com/news/lo...k-19825948.php

A multi-taskforce and community search was underway Tuesday night, October 8, in the Olmos Park area for a 51-year-old woman who’s been missing since Sunday night, Suzanne Clark Simpson. The local real estate agent went missing not long after attending a party in Olmos Park.

Now, three days after Simpson has gone missing, her husband, Brad Simpson, was arrested in Kendall County – about 30 miles north of San Antonio – on a family violence charge, according to inmate records from the Kendall County Sheriff's Office. The husband was booked into the Texas Hill Country Jail shortly after 4 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, on charges of assault causing bodily injury to a family member and unlawful restraint.

Police said Simpson was seen at The Argyle in Alamo Heights between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Officials are unsure if Simpson was driving a vehicle before her disappearance.

Simpson was last seen wearing a long black dress with black heels.

He killed her. That's for sure. They're supposed to make entry in to the house next:

    Update on October 9 at 12:30 p.m.:

Olmos Park Police are releasing new information into the investigation of a San Antonio mom's disappearance. In a news conference, Olmos Park Police Chief Fidel Villegas said a disturbance between Suzanne Simpson and her husband Brad Simpson broke out at The Argyle, a club in Alamo Heights, on Sunday night, October 6, between 10 and 11 p.m.

It wasn’t until 24 hours later that police said they were notified about the disturbance until Brad told officers Suzanne was missing. Investigators began handling the case as a missing person. Police interviewed Brad as well as witnesses and learned the situation may have turned physical. Evidence obtained by police indicated things not only got physical in Alamo Heights but also Olmos Park. That’s when Olmos Park police tried speaking with Brad but he would not cooperate in keeping his appointments with them.

    Yep, he killed her.

A neighbor told police that between 10-11 p.m. Sunday, he heard arguing outside his bedroom window that became louder and “seemed closer to his window.” When the neighbor looked out his window, he saw the Simpsons in a physical altercation, the affidavit states. He said Suzanne Clark Simpson was trying to get away from Brad Simpson as he tried to pull her down. It appeared Brad Simpson “was clearly attempting to keep Ms. Simpson from running away,” the neighbor told authorities, according to the affidavit.

The neighbor told authorities he last saw the couple walking westbound. The neighbor went outside to investigate, and a short time later, he heard two to three screams from a brushy area east of his home, the affidavit states.

About an hour later, the neighbor saw Brad Simpson start his black GMC pickup truck and leave his house. The neighbor told authorities he saw Brad Simpson return one to two hours later.

Someone on FB posted that they found her dead, but I cannot find any confirmation on this.

UPDATE: worst possible outcome possible. Suzanne has been found deceased in a shallow grave. Husband has been arrested in connection. Such evil in this world!!!
They have 4 babies…why do this?!?! Why not just walk away?!?!!! Prayers for her babies and loved ones.

The neighbor saw all that and didn't call the cops? I get not wanting to get in others' business, but that was a lot to just shrug off.

@Nic, I almost posted the same thing earlier.

ETA: LE is saying they have nothing showing that she isn't alive. I think at this point that is highly unlikely, but I guess they haven't found a grave.

Missing mother of four Suzanne Clark Simpson told her own mom just an hour before she vanished that her husband had physically abused her.

“Suzanne and I had an opportunity to talk an hour before a lot of this has happened,” Simpson’s mother, Barbara Clark, said at a vigil for her daughter on Sunday night.

She called me up and told me the things that Brad had done to her physically,” Clark said, suggesting the violence was “alcohol-related.”

The worried mother immediately came up with a plan to get her daughter out of the house, she said.

“I came up with an alternative plan for her that she would move in with me and have her little toddler go to the elementary school in my neighborhood,” Clark said.

Clark said that although the family is trying “to be positive,” they do not believe Simpson is still alive.

A mobile command center was set up at a landfill on the Southeast Side amid the search for Suzanne Clark Simpson.
The Texas Department of Public Safety told KSAT that the landfill is one of several areas they are searching in connection with the missing woman.

They asked KSAT to not reveal the exact location due to the ongoing investigation.

On Wednesday, investigators searched the couple’s home in Olmos Park and surrounding areas but declined to say what, if any, evidence was found.

Olmos Park police have released more details about why they’re searching for missing mother Suzanne Clark Simpson in a southeast Bexar County landfill.

In a statement released to city residents, officials said evidence, statements and further police investigation have led officers to the landfill, the location of which investigators have asked not to share.

The search at the landfill for evidence in her disappearance was tied to a sealed search warrant, according to sources familiar with the investigation.

I bet they were able to tap in to his GPS or something and that's why they know he was there that night at the landfill.

Brad Simpson charged with murder one month after wife goes missing in Texas

The couple's 20-year-old daughter, Chandler, a fashion student, alleged on her Instagram Reel that her mother was a victim of abuse, and claimed that "my father took my mother's life in a state of rage and control."

Chandler also alleged in her post that "my mother tried to leave my father and lost her life." She said her mother's light "was a guiding force in the lives of everyone she touched, and her love will continue to inspire us even in her absence."

I am glad he has been charged, as it was obvious he did something to her. I feel horrible for her family...and especially her daughter who posted that on IG. How terribly sad.

Brad Simpson was seen driving with three large trash bags, a heavy-duty trash can and a “large bulky item” wrapped in a blue tarp the day after her disappearance, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

The arrest warrant affidavit states that around 7:53 a.m. on Oct. 7, hours after the neighbor saw the couple fighting at their home, Brad Simpson dropped off his young child at school and the bed of his truck contained at least two white trash bags and a large ice chest.

At around 9:15 a.m. on Oct. 7, Brad Simpson went to a Whataburger in Boerne, and the bed of his truck contained three white trash bags, a large heavy-duty trash can, an ice chest and a large, bulky item wrapped and secured in a blue tarp.

A metal firewood rack was placed on top of the blue tarp “in a manner to conceal and weigh the tarp down,” the affidavit states.
Geolocation data showed Brad Simpson at a Home Depot around 9:53 a.m., where video and a receipt showed he purchased two bags of cement, a construction bucket with a lid, a box of 32-ounce heavy-duty trash bags, one bottle of Clorox disinfectant spray and insect repellent.

While in the parking lot of the Home Depot, he asked a man about the directions to the nearest dump in Boerne. After leaving the store, Brad Simpson intentionally placed his phone in “lock down” mode after he spoke with the man in the parking lot.

Over the next hour or so, Brad Simpson’s truck was seen leaving the waste site in Boerne. He then headed to a gas station in Boerne and bought two one-gallon jugs of water.

Surveillance footage showed the trash bags were no longer in the bed of the truck, but he still had the blue tarp, firewood rack and trash can at 11:15 a.m. He had also changed his shoes from sandals to cowboy boots, the affidavit added.

At around 1:41 p.m., a license plate reader captured Brad Simpson’s truck heading back to Kendall County. At that time, the blue tarp was no longer visible in the bed of his truck, and the firewood rack had been repositioned.

When Brad Simpson arrived at the school to pick up his young child in Alamo Heights at around 3:30 p.m., the bed of his truck did not contain the firewood rack, surveillance video showed. He did have a heavy-duty trash can and ice chest at that time.

At 4:10 p.m., he went to a car wash and cleaned the inside of his truck, the affidavit states. The video showed “dried cement splashes” near the rear passenger compartment and bed. Only the ice chest was visible inside the bed of the truck.

No, not at all. And given this is in Texas, I suspect things will not go well for him if he happens to end up with a first degree murder conviction.

He went to Whataburger with his dead wife in the back of the pickup. I'm sorry, that's priceless!

I just told my husband about this case and he was like "that's how good Whataburger is! You just gotta have it, even if you did just murder your wife." Maybe they will make that their new slogan.
