    TX Amber Alert issued for Zoe Rowbotham (16) - missing since 9/29/2024

    Authorities are asking the public for help locating a 16-year-old at-risk youth at the center of an Amber Alert in North Texas.

    According to the Hurst Police Department, Zoe Rowbotham was last seen Sunday night in Hurst, a city is in Tarrant County and part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.

    The teen is believed to be traveling on foot, police, said in a social media post.

    "I just want her home, I just want to know where she's at and I want her to keep getting the help she needs," the teen's mother, Catrina Rowbotham told NBC in Dallas-Fort Worth.

    Her mother posted this on FB on Monday morning.

    Our daughter is severely mentally challenged with extreme behavior problems. Last night around 9 pm Zoe took off. We last saw her across from Rickle Park in Hurst and climbing the Bluebonnet hill towards home. She never made it. As of right now the police are treating as a runaway so will not issue an Amber Alert. Zoe is completely driven by impulse and has narcissistic tendencies, she should be considered a threat to herself.

    UPDATE!
    On October 5, 2024, at approximately 10:30am, the Hurst Police Department communications center was notified via phone that Zoe Rowbotham had returned home. Zoe is unharmed and her disappearance appears to be voluntary at this time.
