Body of missing woman, Seikeya Jones (31), found in suitcase in Long Island

Suffolk County Police say they have identified the body found in a suitcase in Huntington Station.

The body of Seikaya Jones, 31, was found in a wooded area next to 320 Nassau Rd. around 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday.

Jones was reported missing by police back on Aug. 16, but residents on Nassau Road say there is a video circulating that was taken on Friday where Jones can be seen in a hallway.

Residents say the video shows her following a man who lives there whose apartment was searched Wednesday night.

A resident at the apartment complex told Eyewitness News that she heard a woman screaming around 3 a.m. on Sunday.

A body found stuffed in a suitcase in the woods on New York’s Long Island has been identified as a homeless woman who was reported missing last month.

Seikeya Jones, 31, was reported missing on August 16, according to the Suffolk County Police.

31-year-old Ronald Schroeder is being held in a Suffolk County jail without bond after a woman's body was found stuffed in a suitcase in Huntington.

Police arrested Schroeder, 31, at Penn Station on an outstanding warrant. He was arraigned in court on Saturday.

Officers say they discovered date rape and illegal drugs on the man at the time of arrest.
