Deka Simmons shot and dismembered Daxcimo Ceja because he was a sex offender

    https://torontosun.com/news/world/un...f-sex-offender

Deka Simmons carried an obsessive hatred of child molesters.

That was bad news for convicted sex offender Daxcimo Ceja — even though his crime was allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old girl when he was 25.

A Colorado court heard those facts didn’t matter to Simmons as she was convicted of first-degree murder.

Last week, the 40-year-old was sentenced to life in prison without parole for shooting Ceja. The registered sex offender’s remains were dumped into a drainage ditch in bags.

In addition to the grisly murder, Simmons received an additional 24 years for tampering with the body and another three years for tampering with physical evidence.
At the time he was killed, Ceja had a warrant out for his arrest for failing to register as a sex offender.

“(Simmons) has an unrestrained hatred for anyone who would molest a child,” Flaherty said, calling it a “fixation” and “paranoia.”

According to cops, a witness watched as Simmons shot Ceja in a garage in April 2022. She then dismembered his body and stored the remains in her freezer before using her van to dump her sickening cargo.

Homicide detectives linked Simmons to the slaying through DNA collected from blood at the crime scene.

Ceja’s remains were not recovered until October 2023 when a tipster reported finding human remains stashed in a bag.

Simmons is no stranger to courthouses and jail cells. The Colorado Springs Gazette reported that she has an extensive criminal history, including a conviction for being an accessory to the murder of a fellow inmate.

I'm not going to say that what she did was right. I am going to say that if you have an uninhibited hatred of anyone, a pedophile is a good place to start. She was likely abused herself, perhaps.
Don't like what I have to say? I respect that. Go fuck yourself.

It sounds like she was unhinged. The guy was a POS, but lone wolf justice does not work.

Thank goodness Kambing/John Landers isn't still a member here. Can you imagine how he would be reacting to this?!

Agree 100%. Also, apparently the Toronto Sun doesn't think the victim's crime was so bad....

"Even though" he was ONLY having sex with a minor??? Also.... "allegedly"??? He was convicted, there was no allegedly about it.

I've found several Daxcimo Ceja FBs and he's pretty scary with the face tats and all. Not posting because they aren't current and I don't know that it's him.

P.S. How was she out of jail if she was convicted of being accessory to murder in the death of a fellow inmate? She's even a danger when she's BEHIND bars, how did they ever let her out? Parole boards....

@Kim - I am jealous of your ability to quote like the old days.

I don't get that about how the Toronto Sun thought it would be okay to write something like that. It must have been authored by a man (cannot access the article right now for some reason).

Weird, I couldn't access it again either after I copied and pasted that. Got a "forbidden access" error message.

Re: the quoting - it's easy, just insert the = sign

[quote=insert who/what you're quoting and close it with the right hand bracket (I can't do that here or it will quote it)

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I dated a guy who was 25 and one who was 30 when I was 17 so on the scale of having sex with minors this is bad but not EVIL bad.

Also note: I didn't have sex with the older guys. The 30 year old was one of the nicest guys I've met in my whole life. Shortly after we broke up (because I told him my age) he fell down an elevator shaft that he was working on and was seriously injured. I went to go visit him in rehab. So sad to see him that way.
