VB had supervised visitation for very good and well-documented reasons, some of which have already been mentioned in this thread.
Wrangler Rickman, the ex, has a felonious and violent history. He has violent family members. His family likely has a reputation around town. A Rickman in the same county recently changed his last name and the reason he listed in court documents was so that he would stop getting harassed for stuff his family had done.
Wrangler conveniently was ordered to rehab one week before VB went missing. Solid alibi if he went, and right now there are no court filings or warrants to believe he violated that order.
Wrangler's mom, who had some kind of temporary custody of the kids (Wrangler apparently left them with her), recently alluded in court docs of her disapproval of Jilian Kelley as a visitation supervisor, although she didn't elaborate as to why. VB was concerned with grandma's connections in town.
Oh, and those court documents were mysteriously removed from public view today. Oklahoma has a whole process for sealing court documents that requires motions, court orders with legal support, etc. None of that happened as far as the public can see. This is completely abnormal as far as Oklahoma court records go and someone needs to look into it. And no, there's no law enforcement or emergency exception that would allow records to be suppressed as they were today.
