I know. There was that one case many years ago with a female realtor who was murdered when she had an open house showing. Very scary.

Haltom City Man in Critical Condition After Shooting During Real Estate Showing

The shooting occurred in a home currently on the market, which was being shown to potential buyers throughout the day.

According to the Haltom City Police Department, the victim, a male, was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound at approximately 3:30 PM on Saturday in the 5800 block of Echo Bluff Dr. The injured party was promptly transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment.

While the details surrounding the incident remain scant, Haltom City officers are considering the possibility of a self-inflicted wound even as they have not discounted the prospect of foul play.

I think we confused the site posting at the same time and then with all the usual doubling of posts it got really crazy. I tried to clean it up as best as I could. Wish the doubling thing would stop though!

I am not seeing on the news that there was a crime involved. It makes me wonder if it was self-inflicted and the family asked for it to be removed. Very sad overall.
