Someone named Brendan D. has donated $100 to the Mindy fund on July 5th. I will be sending it to The American Cancer Society once it's transfers over from PayPal into my account (and will post a screen capture of the thank you message from ACS).
I was actually unaware that you could still donate money. I have no problem being the middle-man however.

I think about a month ago on the opening page of the site still contained Mindy's picture and mention of her passing, as well as the ability to make donations to the ACS through the site.
That's cool of you to continue to process donations that come thru, Mike.

It makes me sad to think that I never really got to know her on MyDeathSpace until now... I've been a loyal user from the beginning and always tell my friends about the page, but for some reason, I've never been all that keen on a forum idea, so now as I'm here and read her comments, I know she was such a strong individual. $200 was donated the other day by a forum member. If that person doesn't mind, I am going to keep that $200 in my PayPal account until mid October before donating it to the American Cancer Society.
The company I now work for matches charitable donations dollar-for-dollar after an employee has been with the company for 90 days. (I started mid July) I think it's an awesome program and what better way to turn a generous $200 donation into $400!
I will post a screen capture of the receipt when I send in the donation as well as anything I get back from my company regarding their matching donation. The donation date is already set on my Outlook calendar so I won't forget.

I'll donate in october when I'm fully transitioned into a different job. I'm big with the American Cancer Society because my daughters dad's side of the family all have had or died of cancer, literally. His mom had a masectomy years ago and his dad died of cancer before he turned 50, his grandparents both died of cancer, too. My dream job is at City of Hope, where I will apply and apply and apply until they hire me when I have my BSN.

Thank you Neal. I added an extra $50 and made the donation to "Relay For Life". Not exactly in Mindy's honor, but it is to the American Cancer Society just the same.
This June it will have been 2 years already since Mindy left us. :|
